I am volunteering as a poll worker on election day. If anyone lives in a swing state and can help out... I encourage you to do so! Contact your local Republican/Bush-Cheney Headquarters. The last thing I want to see is the democRATS stealing this election and I will do everything I can to prevent it.

Interesting tid-bit The real politics chart show the NBC /WSJ as a tie

The poll, conducted by Hart/McInturff, shows that 48 percent of registered voters back Bush, 46 percent support Kerry, and 2 percent side with Independent Ralph Nader. Those numbers are virtually unchanged from the September survey, which had Bush at 48 percent, Kerry at 45 percent and Nader at 2 percent.Since when is 2 points a tie? within the margin, but not a tie

Poll watching in GA.

More for the local R candidates than President. He'll win easily in GA.

Call your local GOP offices. However, it's possible that it's too late to sign up - poll watchers have to be approved by the Supervisor of Elections (that is, it has to be checked that they are validly registered voters of the party they are representing). In Florida, you have to have signed up at least two weeks before the election.

But one thing you can do at any time is call your GOP office and find out if they are waving signs on election day, going door to door to get out voters, calling voters, or even driving elderly people to the polls. These are all things that will need help, and your presence will also provide confidence to GOP voters going to the polls (since in some places, voters have to run a guantlet of Dem "activists" lined up around their polling places).

I really believe the only way Gore took PA last time was due to the vote fraud in Philly. The only problem with reporting vote fraud is that a lot of those districts in North and West Philly don't have any Republicans at all. I can watch for voter fraud at my own precint but there's a pretty even split here and that keeps both sides honest.

Click the picture & goto "last" for the latest on Vote Fraud:

...and a note from your compiler of links- near the "last" are links about ACORN, Project Vote, PIGRIM, and other far-Left pressure groups who hide under the "activist" label while subverting representative government.

These nasty characters demean and dilute the value of everyone's vote.

The plan, besides their hope of throwing the election to sKerry, is to so thoroughly corrupt the election results that Mr. Bush will either not be taken seriously, or open to impeachment.

You had better take this stuff seriously- it is a dagger aimed at the heart of the Republic.

I voted at an early voting site here in San Antonio today. The site was the Lion's Field meeting house on Broadway across from the Red McComb's Chrysler dealership (more on this later).

I entered the polling site at approximately 5:15 this afternoon. The meeting house is a popular gathering place for senior citizens. There are shuffleboard courts, rooms for seniors to create their own art and there is a large patio/porch (about 15'x20') area in the front. This patio/porch is shaded and well-equipped with chairs.

The line to vote was fairly long. The polling site was set up so that the line was in the shaded area of the patio/porch.

There were 3-4 people sitting in the patio area when I arrived. I asked one of them, "Ma'am, are you waiting in line?"

She responded, "No, I'm just sitting here."

Now, the line was long -- as I mentioned earlier. The wait time was about 15-20 minutes. There were, after all, several seniors voting and the new touch-screen voting booths are a little intimidating for those not accustomed to using a computer.

The people sitting in the chairs were having a loud conversation that I overheard while I waited. They were complaining about Bush, praising Kerry, downtalking conservative candidates and talking up a sales tax referendum that's on our ballot this year.

The conversation seemed loud, scripted and well-practiced to me.

This all seemed odd to me. But, I went inside, voted straight-ticket GOP and voted against the sales tax hike. I then left the building.

It only hit me when I left. I knew what was going on the minute I saw the two cars parked directly in front of the building (I hadn't paid close attention when I entered). There were two compact wagons COVERED in Kerry stickers, anti-Bush stickers and messages on soaped onto the windows.

This was a poorly disguised, illegal effort to campaign INSIDE a polling site!

I've contacted our elections head in Bexar county, but I expect NOTHING to happen (this county is controlled by the left).

Oh, last thing -- back to the dealership. A tall, older, red-haired guy was waiting in line when I entered. He had a purple dress shirt on with the word "VIKES" on the breast pocket.

Yes, Red McCombs voted today at the same site as me.
