EAU CLAIRE, WI Today, The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation, the states largest farm organization, announced its endorsement of George W. Bush for President. Todays endorsement marks the first-ever presidential endorsement in the Farm Bureaus eighty-four year history. 48,190 member families belong to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau. We are endorsing President Bush because Wisconsin farm families have benefited from his leadership. His support of initiatives in the state has helped agriculture grow to be a $51 billion part of Wisconsins economy, said Bill Bruins, president of the Farm Bureau, and a dairy producer from Waupun. President Bushs leadership on farm programs, animal identification, conservation programs, tax relief, renewal energy, and market development best complements the agricultural initiatives being pursued in Wisconsin. We believe President Bush is the best choice for Wisconsin farm families to expand market opportunities, hold the line on taxes, and provide sensible leadership on environmental rules. We recognize the importance of having a President with initiatives that are the most favorable and consistent with the economic development efforts being undertaken by agricultural leaders in the state, said Bruins. The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation listed these positions and initiatives of President Bush as complimenting the future of agriculture in Wisconsin:
excellent...FOUR Ws.....W WILL WIN WISCONSIN
Of course, this didn't make it into our local Appleton, Wis. paper today.
I wonder if it would be published if Kerry received the endorsement?? /sarcasm
This would be all over the AP if Kerry received this unprecedented endorsement!
Fools! Have they not noted the endorsement of the New York Times?
Fools! Do they not heed the advice of 8 of 10 Frenchmen? The Guardian? The New Zealand Farm Workers League?
Need CHEESE!
I think W should go to a Packer game....this would seal up WISCONSIN for him...in a heartbeat!
W would be very welcomed in the Frozen Tundra, aka "Lambert Field".
wow..first EVER endorsement...that is BIG!
So, send a letter to your editor. They may even print it.
Excellent.
