"We believe President Bush should get the benefit of the doubt here," Kerry spokesman Mike McCurry said in a news release.
Now THAT is funny.

At this point I think he'd be confusing his butt from a hole in the ground.

What an idiotic comment for him to make.

I hope this removes ANY DOUBT to anyone that Pat Robertson SAID these things....I give money to CBN but I wont anymore... I always tried to 'overlook' him because CBN does good work .....but to heck with them....he CLEARLY stood by his stupid remarks, made to CNN a LIB STRONGHOLD, less than 10 days before the election....he's cost his own glory seeking self a ton of supporters and to that I say GOOD!!....
I'll just give more of my money to St Judes...
he's an idiot and now I dont believe hes a real christian and I had doubts after his "GOD TOLD ME" statements anyways
I've never known a better christain or better man than Billy Graham, and he's never said such a stupid or glorifing thing....

Or from Rawanda.

Eight hundred thousand bloody piles of persons slaughtered under Clinton's and Kerry's beloved UN's grand blue banner.

But none of them US citizens, eh?

Does Pat have a video of this?

It doesn't make sense for any President to say they expect no casualties in a war.

Pat should produce a video or transcript, so we can see the context such a statement might have been made in.

It is also curious that G_d told Pat that Iraq would be a mess. Wonder if that was the same 900 foot Christ that Oral Roberts saw in the 80's?

I belive it was Pat Robertson that lost many evangelicals to GHW Bush due in large part to the cajoling of GWB. Robertson is a politician. His remarks are out of place. I saw the interview and it was like he got caught up in the moment and kept talking and talking and....

Remember, Pat Robertson said the Lord told him that George Bush would win in a landslide. Well now he knows there probably won't be a landslide for Bush so he has to make it look as if its because Bush went against his advice and now the Lord won't be delivering on that landslide.

On the eve of the invasion, Bush made a nationally televised speech in which he said specifically there would be sacrafices made.

And shortly after 9/11 happened Bush SPECIFICALLY mentioned that there would be casualities. Yes, he actually said the word casualities.

Pat Robertson is nothing more than the right-wing version of Jesse Jackson.

The president told us in November 2001, long before this conversation with Robertson, that there would be casualties in the war on terror.

And, by the time Robertson had this conversation, there were ALREADY casualties in Iraq.

Robertson needs to have his head examined.

Yes, it's especially funny since this isn't a matter of one man's word against the other man's word. McCurry is trying to make it sound like Kerry is being magnanimous when he knows darned well that GWB has publicly stated from the beginning that there would be casualties in this war.
