FNC reporter Trace Gallagher just announced something at around 10:30am Eastern time that, if we can further expose, could deal a devastating blow to the Kerry campaign.
We all know that Kerry's been going on and on about his plans to 'roll back' (Liberal-speak for "raise taxes") the Bush tax cuts for those grossing $200k/year. However, according to FNC (and johnkerry.com), apparently new penalties would begin to be assessed at the $147,500/year mark!
Gallagher stated that the first penalty, which hits when you make $147,501 in one year, would be $2800. If we can find this buried in Lurch Kerry's "plan" on his website, we can absolutely CRUSH him.
Grab your shovels and strap on your boots, FReepers, and let's start digging!
I'm heading into the belly of the beast @ johnkerry.com to dig up, confirm, and expose Kerry's tax lies. Care to join me?
Actually, if you do as Kerry says and go to his web site to read "his plan" it says he wants to restore the top two tiers to their Clinton level. The 2nd to top tier can affect people earning as little as $80,000!
Stuff like this is exactly what I need. Got a direct link?
And by the way, your tagline is from one of my favorite songs.
Sorry, no link. There was a thread here on FR about it somewhere around a week ago.

Here's one example in particular:
Kerry claims that his $200k/yr tax cut repeal will not affect those small business owners that make >$200k so long as they hire extra workers making a certain amount of money.
For instance, he claims that a small business owner making $500k who hires 4 additional workers per year at a $50k/year salary will receive a $2,969 tax cut.
However, therein lies the problem: 4 * $50,000 = $200,000/yr in new expenses for the business! $2,969 is hardly an offset of that.
In summary, a $3k/yr tax cut hardly offsets an additional $50k/yr in payroll expense.
