"I'll bet you this. If Mary Poppins and Dick Tracy vote on Election Day, they'll vote for John Kerry."

Who would the Fantasic Four, Bat Man And Robin, Cat Woman, The Green Hornet, Sleeping Beauty, Wonder Woman vote for?

Hamilton County mailed 63,403 cards to new registrants, and 4,152 were returned - a rate of 6.6 percent.

The number was third-highest in the state behind Cuyahoga County's 14,461 and Franklin's 6,917

25,000 fraudulent registrations in just 3 counties. Grrrr. . .

Ohio Republican Party Chairman Robert Bennett on Tuesday said it's a result of statewide registration fraud conducted by independent groups that support Democratic candidates.

"By most accounts, their work can only be considered sloppy, haphazard and, in some cases, downright illegal," Bennett said, noting that the state party plans to take out full-page ads in Ohio newspapers encouraging citizens to stop voter fraud.

Gee, what a surprise. Democrats trying to cheat in an election? Say it ain't so!

That's only how many they've caught. How many fake "voters" will slip through the cracks?

The unions will be busing armies of crackheads around Ohio to stuff ballot boxes wherever they can.

Once Bush wins the election there needs to be some sort of national voting requirement that's the same for every state. Every person who votes must vote at their prescribed precinct with identification...and if their is any question, two forms of ID. Wa-laa. Why is this so difficult?

Because some bleeding heart liberal will say asking to see two forms of ID is an invasion of privacy. My feel is if you're not doing anything wrong, what should it matter.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt on most of these.

I work for an insurance agency,. You wouldn't even imagine the number of Undelieverable's the mail-room gets back, even from people who just got new policy's.

People are moving all the time, and they dont give all the information about their addresses (missing apartment numbers, unit numbers, etc.).

Or am I mis-reading this story?

Democrats have held this bill up in congress since the GOP took over in 94 and tried to get it passed.

If this ID at the Voting Poll requirement ever went in place, they would never return to power!

Rats are paid to sign up as many "people" as possible. Then they take out absentee ballots in the name of the phony voter, or bus in people to show up on election day and vote for the phantom "voter".

I also work in mailing millions of pieces and know all the manners in which addresses can be wrong and the manners in which they can ber verified or corrected.

The concept is that the people JUST NOW registered and their cards from several days or weeks ago are undeliverable. It is more probable that the addresses were wrong to begin with, than that 6.6% of the excited new voters suddenly moved without even filing a change of address. Postal statistics are that 18% of the US population moves every year, and 85% of those 18% file a move (NCOA) card, so that on average 2.7% become undeliverable PER YEAR (or 0.24% per month). The concept that 6.6% of the NEWEST addresses from several weeks ago would have become undeliverable in say one month is improbable by a factor of 6.6%/0.24% = 27.

Consequently, I would conclude that either the big cities have a major problem wih thousands of people who are so stupid they don't know their own address -- or else there is a probability of 1-(1/27) = 97% probability of voter registration fraud.

Oh! So, the way they know they're "problematic" is that they're being returned to the Registrar by the USPS? Oh, that's priceless.

I went to make sure my voter's registration was current (since the DMV sure didn't), and suggested that the gal look at my driver's license. She refused. But, hey, this is California; why would she want to see my ID for me to register to vote?

it is "so difficult" because it discriminates against illegals of all sorts. The Dems have been pretty plain about this-illegal aliens have feelings, too. They have said that if you refuse illegal aliens then you are targeting Hispanics for exclusion.

If President Bush can somehow overcome the huge fraud that will occur in Florida and Ohio this year, real voter identification reform MUST top the Congressional agenda. Yes, I know the Senate will probably try and Filibuster the whole thing, but I truly feel our Republic is threatened to its core by this unchecked fraud.

What is so damn racist about asking for a form of identification when voting? A white guy like me would have NO problem complying with this simple request. My Asian wife would have NO problem. It drives me CRAZY when the media lets "civil rights" leaders make statements like that without calling them on it.

It never ceases to amaze me as to how low democrats will go to get elected. Lie, Cheat, Steal, bully and sleaze. (I'm sure I forgot a few) And they think that's democracy. Absolutely no sense of ethics whatsoever!

"But everybody does it! The Republicans do it to!"

How I LOATHE such arguments. Next time you hear it, rudely enjoin the specker of same by "Yes, isn't that what you mother says to the mailman when she calls him to the door and tries to seduce him? -- 'Everybody does it" -- Well, that must be where you picked it up, eh?"
