Vaccines, lottery-style in New Jersey

You won't win any money in this lottery, but you might be healthier this winter.

Officials in Bloomfield, New Jersey, plan to register people for a lottery to determine who gets the town's 300 doses of flu vaccine.

Flu shots in Bloomfield already were reserved only for senior citizens and other high-risk groups. Then, the community learned it would be receiving less than half the 1,000 doses it ordered.

The health director said a lottery is the "most fair and equitable way" to distribute the available vaccine. Requests have soared since vaccine producer Chiron announced it would not ship supplies this year because of problems at its plant in Britain.

Nice way to create a panic, morons.

Why not distribute vaccines based on health need?

A lottery to distribute flu shots is exceedingly appropriate. After all, it was the multi-billion dollar liability lottery of our legal system that destroyed the US vaccine industry.

Absolutely true. She created this in the one part of HillaryCare to be enacted into law: setting mandatory price controls on vaccines in 1995, while failing to end the liability lottery of the democrat party's trial lawyer SS brigade.

You can be sure, despite the shortage, there will be a dose available for Hillary.

Lawyers ought to be as respected as Michael Jackson, with about the same chance as winning the presidency.

The RNC is not doing its job.
