Voters angered by UK paper's meddling If Kerry led U.S. in WWII 'you'd be goose-stepping'
Snip~
Angry American citizens are responding to a British newspaper that launched a project to help readers influence the U.S. election by providing names and addresses of independent voters in the crucial swing state of Ohio.
Writing to "My dear, beloved Brits," one Ohio citizen responded wryly, telling the London Guardian that until its project was initiated, "I was adrift in a sea of confusion and you are my beacon of hope!"
Another's anger was more direct:
Hey England, Scotland and Wales,
Mind your own business. We don't need weenie-spined Limeys meddling in our presidental election. If it wasn't for America, you'd all be speaking German. And if America would have had a president, then, of the likes of Kerry, you'd all be goose-stepping around Buckingham Palace. YOU ARE NOT WANTED!! Whether you want to support either party. BUTT OUT!!! United States

Those are pretty hilarious replies that the Guardian is getting (follow the link in the article to the Guardian). I don't think that's the response that the Guardian editors were expecting. Sort of like Kedwards' remarks about Cheney's lesbian daughter. It's backfiring.

"The Guardian" is one of the most hate-America newspapers on the planet. I should know I used to read that piece of garbage going back as far as 1985.
Their aim in life has always been to spew out as much anti-American hatred as they can.
They just foam at the mouth.
Got nothing to do with Bush, they have hated America, for its successes and power and riches , for as long as I can remember.
For a bunch of guys who hate America to turn round and try to tell Americans who to vote for has got to take first prize for sheer nerve.
Naturally, The Guardian's stupid idea is being treated with the contempt that it deserves by clear thinking Americans. That paper is mainly fit for use as toilet paper...and to wrap those tasteless fish and chips that the culinary challenged English are so fond of. Poor guys (The British have easily the worst food on the planet.May explain why they are so naturally grumpy and full of angst and bitterness on a permanent basis.)
BTW, I am give the Guardian a taste of their own medicine, by demanding that all the people in the ex-British colonies like Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, India etc etc insist that the be allowed to vote in British elections, given that the British have been exploiting; and stealing from their ex-colonies like for ever, and decisions made in the British parliament seriously affect the lives of the nearly 2 billion people in the ex-British colonies. Let's see how the arrogant Guardian likes that for an idea, shall we?
Isn't that the reason the stupid Guardian newspaper gave for this moronic stunt?

I think this story is so funny. I love going to England, but the nerve of the people is amazing!!
Especially when it is coming from a group of people who would elect the likes of Mr. Galloway to Parliament.
How many millions did Galloway get from Saddam?

"I don't think that's the response that the Guardian editors were expecting."
Either that or they were trying to bait Americans so that they can go back to the Brits and report that we are still a bunch of stupid unsophisticated cave dwellers.

The Guardian doesn't need an excuse to lie, they lie with every sentence.

Don't judge the whole country because of one left wing paper. What if people from outside the US judged all of America based upon what they read in the New York Times?

A Euro-weenie even dissed Bush in a recipe review on epicurious.com. I took the opportunity to tell her off in a review for the same recipe following her ... and telling Europe to shove it. Eventually management in epicurious.com stepped in a pulled all the reviews. :)
Just doing my part.
