Scowcroft is from the Wahabi wing of the Republican Party. It is people like him who helped the first Bush lose the White House.

Better to be mesmerized by Sharon than Monica-ed as Arafat was by Clinton.

"When there is a suicide attack, Sharon calls the president and says, 'I'm on the front line of terrorism,'

He is, you idiot! He has the terrorist scums living in and around his backyard. Would you have him throw spitballs at them in order to please your saudi masters. Personally I would have unleashed hell on them already, and damn the UN. But I am not Sharon, in that context W was right when he said Sharon was a man of peace.

STFU Scowcroft.

Wouldn't you like to hear these words: "Brent, you're fired."

Isn't Scowcroft Morman? Could that influence his view of Israel?

"Scowcroft said, "I was having dinner with Condi and she said: 'At least that's good news,' " Scowcroft recounted. "And I said: 'That's terrible news.... "

Boy, this guy sounds like a pill. He's not even in the administration anymore, but he feels free to lecture them like naughty schoolchildren. On top of that, he prances off to the press to recount his "dinner with condi." Sounds like he should be off the guest list in the future.

I think Sharon has made reference to them in his Samson Option speeches. Last time he did so was pre- and post-Iraq war.

I don't think they have nukes.

The influence or potential influence of the thoroughly amoral and corrupt Scowcroft is the most troubling aspect of the Bush administration.

I am constantly amazed at the lack of understanding of our realationship with Israel. US support is the only mortal barrier against antisemetic world. Of course i believe gad has something to say about Israel. I fear that a Kerry administration will side with the elletes or in otherwords the antisemetic europe. Remove the christian influence protecting Israel. What I don't understand is why even non religous jews don't realize that the world not christians hate the jews.

Think of all of the ex-administration officials that just love to come out and air dirty laundry about Bush. Whenever Kerry references Bush's father's book to rationalize his (Kerrys) stance on Iraq, it is such nasty politics since Kerry voted against Bush's fathers Iraq war.

It is also getting really old to see all of these retired generals, admirals, etc., going on all of the talk shows and Monday morning quarterback every decision the Bush Administration has done.

With the first president Bush having people like this on his staff, no wonder he lost the second term.

The man is trying to help Kerry win, he is trying to have an effect on the outcome of this election.

" Sharon will say: 'I want to get out of Gaza, finish the wall [the Israeli security barrier] and say I'm done.'"

Well .......... The Israelis will be done. Why is it their responsibility to set up the Palestinian state? Give 'em the land of Gaza and let them be.

Scowcroft is another one of these country club Republicans I'd rather not listen to.

These guys can't resist the allure of the tinpot fame of TV and getting quoted in history books. It's true that 'politics is show business for ugly people.'

From the remarks I have heard Bush 41 make lately, I think this election and the hatred directed towards his son has severely beaten him down.. I hope nothing happens to him but he just seems so tired and sad that the lies he hears every day never get corrected by anyone. Of course, even if they were corrected by someone, the press wouldn't tell anyone about it.

I am amazed whenever I see a poll showing Jews and Muslims equally trending to Kerry. The Muslims want to wipe the Jews from the face of the earth, Bush has shown so much respect for Israel, fought the U.N. over the fence for them, and yet they would side with the Democrat Muslims. Go figure. I guess no good deed goes unpunished, right Pres. Bush?

With the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, it was Scowcroft who coined the term “New World Order.”

Bill Clinton met with Yassir Arafat more than any other foreign official--and that worked out well.

Scowcroft now serves on many Israel-bashing Saudi-promoting foundations.

His rabid rhetoric re Sharon hearkens back to the old world order of the Thousand-Year Reich.

A Palestinian state or an anti-terrorism barrier? Which is the more prudent tactical priority for the security of Israel?

Saddam Hussein no longer bankrolls Palestinian bombers' families to the tune of 25K per--shifting this terrible financial burden on Scowcroft's clients.

Brent, you disgusting waste of DNA:
