They should also quote "party/minority/civil rights leadership as denouncing tactics that discourage people from voting." Sounds like Minnesota has the same playbook. About a week ago, "Don't Vote" billboards appeared all over the Twin Cities. It was obvious that it was a teaser ad (for a radio station, as it turns out), but that didn't stop the NAACP and other minority leaders to rail against it as an attempt to thwart minority voting.

I certainly don't miss the Rocky Mountain News / Denver Post conglomerate. Yes, it's one paper now.

Of course, now I have the Idaho Statesman. When I lived in Austin, we (i.e., myself and my non-liberal friends) called our paper the Austin American Hatesman. Not really original, but quite poignant.

I think Drudge got us out in front of this democrat dirty trick.

That's what happened to the Houston Chronicle and Gazette they merged, took the name of the conservative paper and turned hard left.

Do not talk about our attempts to commit fraud, for heaven's sake.

Why do all these instances of intimidation only occur in Democrat precincts? If anyone wants to be looking for patterns, it is amazing how often "incidents" keeps showing up in supposedly "safe" districts.
To: alloysteel
The Dems are against poll watching in their strongholds. They're beginning lock-step intimidation tactics to scare away people who could hold them accountable to run a clean election.

From the article you linked:
If used on a much broader scale, a voter ID requirement would be a "form of intimidation'' to thousands of Mississippi voters, Dowdy said."Now what the heck does that mean? You have to show ID to cash a check, but it's intimidating to have to prove who you are when voting. This is such a crock.

Here's a question: If you have any doubts about the status of your voter registration, why not contact your local election board TODAY and make sure everything's in order? Find out where to go, if you need an ID, etc. TODAY and work out any issues before November 2.
If you don't do it TODAY and there are problems or issues you could have worked out in advance on November 2, you really have no right to moan then. (Unless, and of course, your REAL motivation is to moan about voter intimidation on November 3.)

Exactly.
If you're who you say you are, what's all the fuss?
I have no problem proving who I am.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
I'd say that this little mistake will cost the Democrats most of the "swing voters" they've been courting...
