I certainly don't miss the Rocky Mountain News / Denver Post conglomerate. Yes, it's one paper now.

Of course, now I have the Idaho Statesman. When I lived in Austin, we (i.e., myself and my non-liberal friends) called our paper the Austin American Hatesman. Not really original, but quite poignant.

That's what happened to the Houston Chronicle and Gazette they merged, took the name of the conservative paper and turned hard left.
