ON top of everything else, Sen. John F. Kerry is an out doorsman, although he wouldn't be so politically incorrect as to refer to himself in anything other than gender-neutral terms.
So he's an "outdoorsperson." At least, that's what he told Diane Sawyer on ABC a couple of weeks ago.

In the current issue of Field & Stream, the outdoorsperson was asked about the biggest deer he'd ever killed — er, harvested.
"Probably an 8-pointer," Kerry replied, "something like that. Nothing terribly big." Actually, an 8-pointer would be a rather large kill to most hunters — the kill of a lifetime in fact.
But Bwana John wasn't done. "I once had an incredible encounter with the most enormous buck — I don't know, 16 points or something. It was just huge. And I failed to pull the trigger at the right moment. I was hunting down in Massachusetts, on the Cape."

Like the marathon thing
Yeah... Kerry claims to have run in the Boston Marathon.. but can't remember his time or when he run....
Are you kidding me John? Most runners would know their time and the date.
Kerry trying to pass himself off as an "outdoorsman" is as much a riot if W tried to pass himself off as a foppish bon vivant!
If Kerry ran a marathon he would have video and hundreds of pictures.
Every hunter remember the exact number of points on the biggest deer he got. He would never say "8 points or something." 16 Points? Yeah, RIGHT!!!! I'd love to ask him some questions about field dressing a deer. He'd probably offer as how they don't put clothes on deer in Mass after they kill them.
I would hope that in this election the electorate will choose the John Wayne candidate over the Clifton Webb candidate.

I lay odds that Kerry wins. It's exactly like 1991 when Bush One lost to Clinton. Everyone said "no way" can a draft dodger, pot smoking, whore monger get elected !

I could tell you how I stared slack-jawed as two deer jumped up and ran away with me looking on in amazement without the sense to pull the trigger 20 years ago, but that would be a real nerd-revealing moment, wouldn't it?
Some of us just don't have the "fill the larder" gene. I still hold out hope that I will get a clean kill in my SUV here in Western PA.
