Howdy, FReepers,

Below are some pix I shot of the two "Bumper Stick-a-thons" that our local Republican club had here in Venice, Florida yesterday, Saturday, 10/9/04. I apologize for the low quality and size of these -- I just got this camera a few days ago and haven't had a chance to experiment with it much.

Our first set of pictures is on the main street through town, Business Hwy. 41, or "Tamiami Trail". This location was right in front of our HQ.:

You can't read it ('cuz of my lousy photography!), but the sign above the banner reads "Honk 4 Bush!" And lots of folks did.

My son, Chris, a young conservative in training! $:-) Preserving this great nation for our kids is what this is really all about.

Check out this trooper -- leg in a cast and he's still out there.

The next morning (earlier today), I went by our HQ to get more Bush/Cheney signs (the lefties have been uprooting/destroying/stealing ours ever since they got their supply about a week ago). Lo and behold, it looks like our successful rally must have pissed them off.

It says a great deal about a presidential candidate whose supporters are little more than vandals and thugs, doesn't it?

Great job. I would like to suggest photoshop elements to edit your photos. Costs about 50 dollars. Use "enhance-levels" and also "filters-unsharp mask". in order to do this:

Very, very nice Joe. We moved last year from Florida to North Georgia (impeccable timing) and all indications are a very solid lead for Bush/Cheney here. I plan to be near North Florida again in late october and plan to do what I can to influence the vote for Bush there.

You guys and gals did a wonderful service and I commend you. The pictures are great.

How boring is that? As of this typing, I have already experience a 19 degree change in temperature, it's now 58. If it warms up anymore, I just might take my jacket off when I go outside....

Photoshop is not designed to make a less than perfect picture into a perfect one. However, in bad lighting, you can often improve a picture into one where you can at least make out what is going on.

If you are really upset, I can delete the picture from the host and all you will see is a red x in a box on this thread.
