Whadda lightweight!
I missed the beginning of the debate and am just now catching up. Anyone who suggests that the Vice-President did not completely dominate Sen. Edwards does not know how to score a debate. I'm literally cringing watching Sen. Edwards embarrass himself. He seldom addressed the questions directly, and he was almost completely unable to engage in the ongoing discussion. He just blindly repeated talking points that the Vice-President discredited only moments before. He lost on both substance and style and I sincerely feel sorry for him. If this were a presidential debate, the campaign would be over.
You nailed it.
This also shows a complete lack of judgement on Kerry's part for selecting him. Of course we knew that already.
I couldn't get on either. There may have been a DOS attack.
What planet is Dick Durbin from? Anybody know?
>>>>Edwards should count his lucky stars that Cheney (not a lawyer) wasn't opposing him on all those big enriching cases that he (Edwards) won<<<<
Most of those cases were settled out of court.
My daughter got a kick out of the fact that Edwards kept his eyes on Cheney even while drinking. It was very amusing.
Not even Tim Russert and Ton Brokaw disagreed, and we know they're not objective!
Thanks for the honest appraisal.
I take it you are young?
Ive seen cheney for decades as a solid principaled man
Nobody even watches Dan Rather or CBS any more so I would really question there ability to do a poll.
He did......it was swell, wasn't it?
I just thought he was trying to avoid the question. Like he did on a lot of them.
Edward's is still lying on the floor!
Does the Veep debate ever have much influence on the polls? I didn't think so, but tonight just might.
At least temporarily.

"You DO realize The policies Cheney defended WERE the President's? Right? "
Or at least, the presidents after cheney may have had some input, something I (and any of us, for that matter) don't really know.
In any event, my previous comment was simply an observation, that I would rather cheney were electable in the media age of politics, both in 2000 (the post-clinton era, no 9/11) and now.
I don't know what it is exactly, maybe the half smile, maybe the wise and warm expression, but Vice President Cheney is totally HOT. Totally, intensely HOT.
Exactly! Me too......and what the heck is it? I think the American people will see through this charade they are trying to pull off. Cheney was incredible..............I hope President Bush took notes. Edwards personal attack on Cheney's daughter was the lowest of the low.......I'm glad Cheney took the high road. Didn't want his personal life brought into it. That pretty much showed Edwards character to me. Just like Kerry's.....anything to win......
