Does anyone know if anything has happened or is going to happen with Sandy Berger's stolen and destroyed government high-classified documents? I'm guessing that the Justice Department (Ashcroft) would be responsible for charging him with anything.
To tell you the truth, I don't have very much confidence in him - what ever happened to Pardongate and all of the other Clinton crimes - Is anything going to happen with Rathergate?
For some reason - he seems to avoid any prosecution that is politically oriented.

I read yesterday or the day before (on FR) that the investigation is still ongoing, and any suggestion that Berger is off the hook is wishful thinking by the Dems. Or an attempt to make it all go away in the media.
Somebody pointed out that this would be a crime that goes all the way to the top of the Dem establishment (Clinton), and the prosecutors have to make sure they have all their ducks in a row before proceeding. Hope this is true!

Glad you brought this up. I had an ongoing e-mail feud with a local radio guy about this, and it has really dropped off the radar lately.
He contended that the Justice Department had concluded "it never happened." That is ridiculous in view of the fact that it happened, he admitted it happened and his lawyer admitted it happened.

I heard that DNA tasts of brown stains found on the missing documents, have connected Shady Booger to them.
Why do you think he never pursued any of Clinton's crimes? You know - the ones that Janet Reno said that she couldn't comment on because they were "under investigation?"
I'm not the Attorney General of the United States, so I wouldn't expect you to trust me. Maybe you would like to answer the question.
Could all these ducks just happen to line up so there are arrests of Burger and several DemoRats on October 25? six news days ahead of the election.
Any bets here. This "Two-Party Cartel" will not sacrfice any dem for any misdeeds. This again will show you that when push comes to shove there is absolute predicability here - the elites who run Congress & who want a liberal agenda will send out the word to the puppets to forget it. Just watch.
You know - I think you're right. The two party cartel does not want to do anything that would embarass the country - because it would ultimately reflect on them. That is the only logical conclusion I can think of.
Look what happened to the rebel who did - James Trafficant -Remember him? I'm sure you know where he is for blowing the whistle.
He is still being investigated, per a story published here in the last week, and this nugget came out on Fox News today. Looks like Berger is singing to the Feds.
