KARACHI, Pakistan An unmanned U.S. spy plane crashed Sunday near an air base used by American forces in southern Pakistan, police said. Villagers saw the small plane go down in a field about three miles from the Pakistani air force base in the town of Jacobabad, about 180 miles east of the Afghan border. "We collected the debris of the 3-foot plane and handed it over to Pakistani officials at the base,"

I hope the 2-inch pilot wasn't hurt.
Really, really, really LOL.
Let's watch and see where the GPS embedded debris ends up.
I'm not sure but I think this was another weapons procurement that Les Misrables Kerry voted against.
Yes, Kerry voted against UAV projects, including Predator Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and the Prowler Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
It would be interesting to learn whether this plane was flying surveillance of the base perimeter, or was lost on its way to Afghanistan. I doubt the public will ever hear.
ROFLOLSHIAHAB!!!!!
nowadays a 3' drone is a "spy plane" just as terrorists are "insurgents"

"American forces in southern Pakistan"? I don't recall ever hearing that before.
RC bump.
We have had air assets based there since sometime in 2001 after 9/11. Don't recall the date, we first had to convince Musharraf it was to his benefit to be friends with us and not the Taliban.
If it's a "3 foot plane" then it has to be for local security.
Or else one of the GIs is an RC hobbyist :<}
"American forces in southern Pakistan"? I don't recall ever hearing that before.
The Paks have given us five of their air bases/airfields. However in the event of an "emergency", our planes could land anywhere in Pakistan as per our "arrangement" with them. This report probably talks about their Air force base in Jacobabad in Southern Pakistan.
The Stewart Smalley pic was incredible. I think a "Barbie" plane would be a better choice for Kerry.
Too Funny!
