Something to Yak About - Debate Prep For The People
With only slightly less hype than your basic Super Bowl, Sen. John F. Kerry and President George W. Bush take to the stage tonight for the first of three presidential debates. But you can't tell the players or their positions without a program, so The Yak is happy to provide these fabulous briefing materials on key issues destined to percolate to the surface during the debate. Your listeners will find them helpful too.

Debunking John Kerry In Real Time
It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it. We're talking about laying out the facts of the matter during this evening's debate via the Internet at http://www.DebateFacts.com The link won't be live until later on Thursday, but this is one site you'll want to add to your favorites, especially if you're covering tonight's event. Complete with real-time responses to the flippage and floppage of the Gentleman from Massachusetts, it's indispensable in knowing where John Kerry stands - or stood - or might stand - on the issues.

Different Day, Different Gaffe
While flip-flopping is a daily staple in the diet of The Gang That Couldn't Spin Straight at the John Kerry campaign, the tactical downside is that over time, virtually any statement becomes a contradiction; another gaffe that tends to define the candidate. F'rinstance, John Kerry attempted to brush aside his renown, "I actually did vote for the $87 billion, before I voted against it," flip-flop by claiming it was uttered during, "one of those inarticulate moments," that sometimes happens, "late in the evening," when he was, "dead tired." Wrong-o. Sort of makes one wonder whether all these contradictions are just a string of 'inarticulate moments' or something more conscious.
