I spent my honeymoon in Canada and several vacations as well, but that will end unless Canada gets back on the track as a neighbor (neighbour) and ally.
Now is not the time for division, it is the time for ALL civilized nations to stand together and get rid of a common enemy: the Islamofascists.
Fortunately the government of the day has come out in support of the US effort in Iraq and has sent a few hundred million and is taking part in training police in Iraq. Of course the official military is at sea in the Gulf and I think 700 troops are still in hafganistan. No troops other than those on exchange are officially taking part in the effort in Iraq.
So you spent some time here - great. Hope you enjoyed yourself. I have been to a lot of places in the US. Our next trip is to Virgina Beach in a few weeks to relax. I have never been there so I am looking forward to the experience.
Take care
You do realize that by possibly boycotting Canada, you'll be hurting the business community more than the government. It is the politicians, scholars and media that, for the most part, are the real problems here. By and large, the businesses here do not fall for the anti-American rhetoric. By boycotting businesses, you'd essentially be hurting the wrong element.
