Fine. Let's move the voting booths. . . to the complaintant's living rooms. . .

How 'bout the local mosque? (Located on RT. 62 on the Stow/Hudson Line.)

Excellent idea.

Should the people of the Socialist Commonwealth of Massachusetts not vote at all, I will not loose any sleep, as I am sure the United States of America will be better for it.

Selectman Joseph J. Durant argued that pulling the election booths would rob students of an opportunity to see how democracy works.

I see no one mentioned that at least one Selectman had the ba**s to voice the feelings of true Americans.

Actually--its not a bad point. when I vote at the local school there are never police around and a bunch of old ladies manning the election place. It is a target rich environment if you are an Islamofascist.

And other than not having a school building involved, what difference would a different location make? IMO, it would be another sign of caving to terrorism. The next suggestion might be to never have any more than two people within a hundred yards of any other people so a car bomb would have minimal damage.

I wouldn't fault any parent who kept their child home on election day if their school was a polling place.

Yeah, but if you are a terrorist looking for the soft underbelly, what would be better than a school on election day? No one thought that terrorists would fly planes into buildings.......

Having a cop at polling places seems prudent to me.

Ironically one of the leaders of this movement was just on the radio and says she is voting for President Bush.

Didn't Mohammed Atta and his thugs fly OUT of Logan airport in Boston? I mean, why leave if Boston is your target?

So does their "fear" of terrorists hitting their schools during the election prove that even their own Senators haven't given them a feeling of safety? If they can't make Mass feel safe, how can sKerry and his Comardes make any of us feel safe?

Face it, as Beslan showed, schools are a very soft target. teachers are not armed, no resitance, prime hostage material. Vigilance is required.

Save money. Cancel that trip to France. Go to Massachussetts instead.

As we saw in Russia a few weeks back, schools with or without polling places, are a 'target rich' environment.

How much 'security' do you want? Do we need Delta Force at every school every day and every polling place every election? Or are we going to kill these terrorist cockroaches where they breed?

What's up with this? I've never heard of a public school being open on a Federal Election Day.

It's a federal holiday, why are the kids in school to begin with?

I agree, but the most resistance will come from the Dims - a symbol of the LAW might intimidate their base. Any place innocent people gather is considered a ripe target for terrorists. Schools are more desirable with kids in them... God Bless.

Flame me all you want, but I think they have a good point. Hitting us at a school AND on election day would be a huge success for these monsters.

Hmmm. In our town the schools aren't in session on Election Day. It is a planned day off.

The parents of Hudson need to adopt a more sensitive approach to voting booths in schools -- an approach that can bring the terrorists to their side in a true alliance, not a coalition of bribed and coerced voters....

Hudson, Massachusetts = the next Spain. ("if only we submit to the terrorists, they'll leave us alone")
