This hardly qualifies as breaking news.

A sane liberal's take on the state of the election. All this will be lost on the DU Dummies living in their liberal fantasyland. They really believe somehow Kerry will close the deal with the voters. Hope on the Left is the last thing to die.

"3. It is God's will. The Christian Right, following the dictates of its pastors, preachers, priests, and ministers, will turn out in droves for Bush. Many have explained his undemocratic 2000 election loss/victory to themselves by accepting that it was divine intervention. Many believe the Bush family is a gift from God. Here we must include another kind of divine intervention what insurers call "Acts of God" since Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Ivan have enabled Bush to shower millions in reconstruction aid on the crucial electoral state of Florida which had until recently been trending Democrat."

The delusions and contradictions in this piece make it prime meat for a true journalism class. I especially like how the writer says most pundits aren't aware of the "image" thing (#5) and then in #6 says the pundits are all paying too much attention to #5. Say what?

The author of this smarmy little article purports to see a Bush victory by using every untrue cliche about Bush from the left. I believe this author is as big an idiot as he attempts to make President Bush seem.

10. Osama bin Laden. Cynics believe that the Bush administration knows exactly where bin Laden is and will produce him in the run-up to the election.

Following in the most recent footsteps of Mrs. Heinz. They really really fear this, don't they?
How did one freeper put it? Karl Rove having Bush walk out at the first debate leading Osama on a leash. Can't you just picture it?

Try not to commit suicide right after GW wins in November. Wait at least 30 minutes, for plausible deniability.

Bush will win because idiot liberals like this are already making up excuses as to why they lost. It is pretty hard to win anything when you have already settled for losing.

Real decisive there. How about, "Why Bush is Going to Win?"

Basket case Jamaica weighs in. I especially like this line..
His policies have wreaked untold damage on the environment, and proved disastrous for working people, unions, and international entente.
What the hey? Whats all this about the "environment"? Typical fallback issue for leftists, but no details. And the international entente! So important a constituency!
I liked reading this, it doesent deserve a Zot. Its very amusing.

Disastrous Iraq? Come on, we invaded a large country, obliterated its armed forces with a single column, seized its capital, all in record time and with few casualties, and captured its dictator tyrant and eliminated his evil sons.
Terrorists who attacked the United States homeland killing 3,000 are now forced to fight the best and bravest and most well-armed of us on their home-turf instead of having a safe-haven to plan attacks against the defenseless. During this they have suffered an immense number of casualties.
The US has lost approximately 1,000 in the capture of the country and the ensuing struggle against the terrorists. While every such death is a tragedy, the fact is that the total for the whole invasion and more than year-long terrorist battle is only about 1/3 of the number of innocents lost on Sept. 11. The 1,000 number pales in comparison to the number of dead each year on our own highways.
During this time we have steadily rebuilt Iraqi infrastructure, improved the economic climate in the country immensely, and put into place a government of Iraqis who are trying to prepare for the first free elections in ages.
And we have done all this while being repeatedly stabbed in the back by those alleged to be our allies and those who stand around and carp, hoping that we will fail.
Disastrous my ass. Another big lie. And they are getting away with repeating it over and over again.
