What? They don't like windsurfing?
The windsurfing ad?
Maybe some one should show them the latest Swiftboat Vet ad, to adjust their attitude.
Hmm. Something just doesn't look right about that sentence. Maybe ...
McPeak and Crowe, distinguished flag officers and Democratic political hacks, will call on the president to do the right thing and repudiate this ad.
There. that's better.
McPeak's wife probably made him do it!
What a girlie-man.
WHy aren't they criticizing Kerry for windsurfing (in floral-patterned shorts, no less) while troops are suffering out in the field?
They have about as much credibility as John Glenn
Two old coots from Clinton's military stamp their feet over an ad that spoofs their upper crust Brahmin candidate.
Hell, Jay Leno took the first shot at Kerry with the "whichever way the wind blows" line.
If they're howling, it's effective.
is this for real.. two retired officers tell the president to pull a "windsurfing" ad.. Skerry needs a rubber room. and new meds
They both distinguished themselves as Liberal Whores a long time ago.
There you go.
"blatant disregard for those fighting and sacrificing in Iraq through its lighthearted approach to the war"
Maybe Kerry should have shown more restraint during a time of war by not going to his Cape Cod home for vacation and windsurfing.
McPeak is a piece if SH*T....he's a Clinton stooge...better hope he never gets to be Sec of Defense...some reporter needs to go out and dig into McPeak and get the skinny on him...
So nice of Kerry to bring free attention to our advertisements.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Taking to the airwaves with a new ad titled "Juvenile," the Kerry-Edwards campaign today is condemning George W. Bush for responding to the deteriorating situation in Iraq by running a juvenile and tasteless attack ad.
The ad will air in the same markets as the new Bush ad "Windsurfing."
"This week has seen a further deterioration of chaos in Iraq," said Kerry-Edwards spokesperson Mike McCurry. "And the response from George W. Bush and his campaign? A shrug of the shoulder from the president at the U.N., and an advertisement that takes a lighthearted approach to the war in Iraq. Mr. President, this is a shameful advertisement that shows a disturbing disregard for those fighting and sacrificing in Iraq, and you should repudiate it immediately."
While the president attacks his opponent as events deteriorate on the ground, Kerry has a plan to win the peace and avoid failure in Iraq, including getting our allies involved, speeding up the training of Iraqi security forces and taking the necessary steps to hold elections next year.
"Juvenile" can be viewed at http://www.johnkerry.com and is available to stations across the country via satellite today from 3:45 p.m. EDT to 4 p.m. EDT.

Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Myers Admitted Terrorists Still Entering Iraq. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Richard B. Myers said that "I would remind people that (terrorist) forces are still flowing to the region." (Rumsfeld Remarks, 9/14/04; Myers, Pentagon briefing, 3/25/03)
Narrator: "In the face of the Iraq quagmire, George Bush's answer is to run a juvenile and tasteless attack ad."
Bush-Cheney Campaign Runs Tasteless Ad Attacking John Kerry. The Bush-Cheney campaign released an ad attacking John Kerry on his stance on the war in Iraq and the $87 billion funding supplemental. (Bush-Cheney '04 press release, 9/22/04)
Narrator: "John Kerry has a plan for success. Get allies involved. Speed up the training of Iraqis. Take essential steps to get a free election next year. On Iraq, it's time for a new direction."
INTERNATIONALIZING TO SHARE THE BURDEN. John Kerry and John Edwards believe the President needs to: Persuade NATO to make the security of Iraq one of its global missions and to deploy a portion of the force needed to secure and win the peace in Iraq; Convene a summit of the world's major powers as well as states in the region, and key Arab and Muslim nations, followed by a standing Contact Group to consult on the way forward, and press them to make good on the steps called for in UN Security Council Resolution 1546: providing troops; providing trainers for Iraq's security forces; providing a special brigade to protect the U.N. mission; and providing more financial assistance and real debt relief; offer potential troop contributors specific and relatively low-risk but critical roles, such as training Iraqi security personnel and securing Iraq's borders; and give other countries a stake in Iraq's future by encouraging them to help develop Iraq's oil resources and by letting them bid on contracts instead of locking them out of the reconstruction process. ( http://www.johnkerry.com )
TRAINING IRAQI SECURITY FORCES. John Kerry and John Edwards believe the President needs to: Provide incentives to improve and accelerate military and police recruitment. Expand urgently the security forces training program inside and outside Iraq by establishing a single, common template for police training and another for military training, and enlisting our NATO allies to open training centers in their countries. Recruit thousands of qualified trainers from our allies, especially those who have no troops in Iraq. Strengthen the vetting of Iraqi recruits, double classroom training time, and require follow-on field training. ( http://www.johnkerry.com )
TAKING ESSENTIAL STEPS TO HOLD PROMISED ELECTIONS NEXT YEAR AND PUT IRAQ ON PATH TO DEMOCRACY. John Kerry and John Edwards believe the President needs to: Recruit troops from our friends and allies for a U.N. protection force, and train Iraqis to manage and guard the polling places that need to be opened so that U.S forces do not have to bear that burden alone. Disburse immediately critical funds for election preparations. Convene a regional conference with Iraq's neighbors in order to secure a pledge of respect for Iraq's borders and non-interference in Iraq's internal affairs. Help Iraqis establish a constitutional process for negotiating long-term power sharing arrangements between Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites. Invest in long-term capacity-building and training for political parties and civil society groups. Prioritize training for the legal and judicial sectors. ( http://www.johnkerry.com )

McPeak and Crowe are both on Kerry's payroll.
this is too funny. It oughta draw more attention to the wind-surfing reprobate.
outrage at what? The dems have consistently over-whined and overplayed their hand during this campaign. This Kerry approach of whining about everything and disageeing with everything is mechanical, rules-based and superficial. The people see this. That's why the Kerry campaign is imploding. Clinton was slicker about it. People don't like obvious inept political gamesmanship.
