Now tell me people which is actually more sad, Mountain girth moore or the brain dead dopes that actually pay him $35,000 a pop to listen to him spew???
To: Melpomene
Just wondering, is there any validity at all to his points about the polls regarding "likely" voters, cell phones, and Republican overweighting?
His point about likely voters and cell phones is that the polls are not taking young voters into account. I hate to tell him this, but every article I've seen recently about "young people" is that they are the most conservative generation to come around in years.
Actually if there is any "overweighting" it is the other way. National Polls almost always over state the Democrat vote. Take Zogby. He "Weights" his polls, 39% Demos, 35% Repbos and 26% Independents.

WAKE UP! The majority are with us! More than half of all Americans are pro-choice, want stronger environmental laws, are appalled that assault weapons are back on the street -- and 54% now believe the war is wrong.
Well like everything else in Moore's life, he is completely WRONG "on his facts" Once again, he is just MAKING IT UP! Hey Mikey, what your "source" none of the Polls at Public Agenda back up your claims. Not even the Lefty ones.

Anyway, Moore is very clear about being independent. The Dems aren't liberal enough for him. He called Clinton the best Repulican president of our times. I don't like him either, but let's keep our facts straight.
Sure he is such an Independent, He was at the Democrat Convention. Perhaps you need to take your own advice and keep your facts straigth?

Just for the record, Pontiac picked up all the taxes and registration costs.According to the report I heard, they picked up the state sales tax and registration fees, not the federal and state income and gift taxes. The latter could amount to over $6000 per car, depending on the income tax bracket of the recipient.
Apparently many recipients have decided to try to sell the cars at wholesale value or less so they can pay the taxes and pocket the difference. That would be the smart ting to do, unless you just can't live without the Pontiac.

OK,
We are up against a party whose Icons are MM, Dan Rather and Teresa HK.
Like we have fallen into some strange paralell universe--what makes sense doesn't.

LOL, Glad you liked it. Actually, I must give credit where credit is due. This excerpt came from an short story titled "The Greenhead Enduro", written by Ed Hertfelder, sometime around 1977-78. I memorized it for a college public speaking class, amazing I still remember it.....

They were happy until they found out that if they accept the cars they may each have to pay as much as $6,000 in federal and state taxes. I think the Oprah show took care of paying the taxes as well.
