NAVY TELLS JUDICIAL WATCH IT WILL NOT RELEASE ADDITIONAL KERRY DOCUMENTS
Navy Personnel Command Confirms Additional Unreleased Kerry Service Records Exist
No comment from Navy on FOIA Legal Review of Kerry Records
No Record of Kerrys Discharge Certificate Maintained by Navy
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, said today that the U.S. Navy Personnel Command, in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, has refused to release additional documents on the naval service of Senator John Kerry. The Navys response the Judicial Watchs FOIA request contained a biographical data sheet on Kerry, two citations and one certificate for the Silver Star medal, two citations and one certificate for the Bronze Star medal, and three sets of orders and certificates for the Purple Heart. In an irregular response to a government records request, the Navys letter referred Judicial Watch to the Kerry campaign Internet site for Numerous responsive U.S. Navy service record documents, as well as service record documents not subject to disclosure requirements under the FOIA . . .
Questions concerning when the Navy conducted a FOIA review and legal review of Kerrys records were answered No comment by Navy Personnel Command FOIA Officer Dave German, during a telephone interview today with Judicial Watch Director of Investigations and Research Chris Farrell. Navy Public Affairs Officer Mike McClellan monitored the telephone interview. In a subsequent e-mail to Mr. Farrell, Mr. German wrote, We have withheld thirty-one (31) pages of documents from the responsive military personnel service record as we were not provided a release authorization.
Judicial Watch also sought Senator Kerrys Discharge Certificate (DD Form 256N) from the U.S. Navy under the provisions of the FOIA. Mr. German stated that the U.S. Navy issues the DD Form 256N to the discharged service member, but does not maintain an official copy of the certificate in the service members record. A copy of Senator Kerrys DD Form 256N discharge certificate was not available on his campaign Internet site as of this writing.
It will be difficult to obtain these hidden documents if John Kerry continues to refuse to authorize their release. In the hundreds of open records FOIA requests Judicial Watch has made to the government, I can point to no instance where we were referred to a political campaign Internet site in the response, stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

How many times has a Kerry Camper been asked why Kerry won't release his military records and the response is: " ..but Kerry has his official Naval records up on his website - "Kerry Military Records Online".
825 total results for military record on Kerry's site where you first must type in a search for "military records" to find the subject related page. No link to military records on the homepage, that I could find, for voter informational ease.
Confusion to thereby mislead the voter into accepting the liberal media bobble head conclusion that all records are present and accounted for.
No problem. Surely the judge who ORDERED the government release Bush's records will step right in and ORDER the release of Kerry's.

Get Dan Rather's daughter over there to the U.S. Navy Personnel Command. Perhaps, she could be the conduit for those documents too.
;-)
I heard that "an expert" from "somewhere" would "produce" the "real" documents.
"They" just need a "good" typewriter.

What?
NAVY TELLS JUDICIAL WATCH IT WILL NOT RELEASE ADDITIONAL KERRY DOCUMENTS
One more time...
NAVY TELLS JUDICIAL WATCH IT WILL NOT RELEASE ADDITIONAL KERRY DOCUMENTS
Oh...How many pages?.....
Navy won't release Kerry's 31 pages, but judge orders Pentagon to release President Bush's records. Neither has sign a Form-180. Is there perhaps an inequity here?

"I can point to no instance where we were referred to a political campaign Internet site in the response, stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton."
Does this mean that German supports the added "V" to the Silver Star? The third and discredited third (Lehman) citation for that Silver Star? What's going on here? Also--has John Kerry NEVER applied for Top Secret Clearance (isn't he on the Intelligence Committee?)? Wouldn't his discharge be part of records other than those maintained by the Navy?
Kerry is a lying scumbag.
He has spent much of his campaign insulting the Guard.
An organization that has Served this Nation in War and Disaster for the Nation's lifespan and more.
Could Kerry be hiding a dishonorable discharge?
Hmmmm, there's at least one judge out there that thinks all records should come to light. He's demanded as much for Bush records. I'm sure he'd be happy to help get Kerry's records coughed up. NOT!
One would surely think so, we'll see.
Kerry was separated in 1978 (not discharged). Why and how would he finally get his HD in the '90's? It doesn't happen. Same as his third Silver Star citiation sighned by Lehman years later, who has categorically denied signing it.
These discrepancies are much bigger than a ANG pilot who's aircraft was being phased out at the time Bush transferred to Alabama and therefore had no reason to take a flight physical, if that's what it was...could have been a regular military physical...which hasn't been determined. Not to mention, that commanding officers didn't order flight physicals and were initiated from the medical types.
They want to make an issue of Bush's last monts in the Guard? Then we should continue, along with the Swifties, to make Kerry's record a bigger issue, which it is!
How do we know that Kerry got an Honorable Discharge? I thought Bush signed the 180 a long time ago.
That's what the Navy's counting on. That way their hands are clean and the released documents can't be claimed to be a partisan act done to damage Kerry. Ironic that one of the left's activist judges will be the one to stick it to Kerry don't you think?
Yup! What is he hiding? This should be a major contention in this lame demo comparison.
http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/jkmilservice/Honorable_Discharge_From_Reserve.pdf
that shows an honorable discharge from the Naval Reserves FEB 16,1978
lots of his records are missing though
