A woman wearing a T-shirt with the words "President Bush You Killed My Son" and a picture of a soldier killed in Iraq was detained Thursday after she interrupted a campaign speech by First lady Laura Bush.
Police escorted Sue Niederer of Hopewell, N.J., from a rally at a firehouse after she demanded to know why her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin, 24, was killed in Iraq. Dvorin died in February while trying to disarm a bomb.

she demanded to know why her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin, 24, was killed in Iraq. Call me crazy, but it probably had something to do with a bomb.

Boy, does it ever SUCK that Bush held guns to so many people's heads and forced them to enlist.

I note that Mom has a different surname from her son. Not sure what to make of it, except that probably she didn't love his father enough to stay with him.

Or maybe the father didn't love them enough to stay with them? Or, maybe the father died? C'mon, we're better than that.

Her son was performing his duty trying to disarm a bomb. I am sorry for her loss, but this is crazy behavior. She needs some counseling and time to heal. She had no business attending and I am glad the Secret Service got her out of there.
Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin, 24 RIP

Her son was called by God and country, and he fulfilled his destiny honorably. I will remember him, and his sacrifice, to my grandchildren.
Thank you, Seth Dvorin; and peace for your soul, mom.

Maybe he joined the military to get away from his mom.
To: Lunatic Fringe
How do we know it was really her son?

Dvorin died in February while trying to disarm a bomb. Everything is Bush's fault...we should all know this by now.
To: Xenalyte
She certainly didn't love him enough to honor his memory.

Where can I buy the T-shirt with the words "Osama You Killed 3000 of my fellow Americans"?

This poor woman is in a very intense period of grieving. It sounds like she could use a little more support froom the Army in geeting the facts about her son's death- assuming she is truly ready for "acceptance"-maybe she is not. Still in anger and denial now that the numbness is wearing off.
I would hope the DNC does not make use of this to exploit her.

And .. he could have just as easily been killed defusing a bomb here at home .. I wonder if the mom will ever realize that.
Parents have to stop blaming Bush for their children's choices to go in the military.

Hey, today Bob Beckel suggested Bush was behind all the hurricanes and had them planned all the way up to 2 Nov.
The sick part of it is a lot of the kool aid drinkers will believe it.
