Imus. Wow. That's impressive. Is he hitting Howard Stern next? Could it be he's a little desperate?Remember how poorly he did on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart? (another news/entertainment program). Stewart asked him about Cambodia and Kerry just froze up and stared at him. Kerry hasn't been on camera with a big journalist since then.

I think Imus and Kerry were together in Cambodia.

you might want to ask the Mods to change the title so that it has the date. Many people won't see this thread until in the morning and may think it's for Thursday.

That's interesting ...that he would suck up to Kerry..
Earlier this year Imus accused Lesley Stahl and Chris Matthews of "sticking their tongues into Richard Clarke's ear" (darn, can't get those curly-cue apostrophe's to work on this notepad-type editor)with their puff interviews of him...

Imus jumped off the kerry bandwagon when the kerry campaign train didn't stop to say hi to the cancer kids at the Imus ranch in N Mexico. he was royally p*ssed off...LOL

he will suck up to him, just wait and see... Kerry wouldn't schedule the interview if he was going to be questioned seriously

John Kerry is Don Imus' guest tomorrow at 7:29 EST. Given his track record, Kerry will probably show up around 10:00.

I just left a message on his producer's phone asking that Don ask Kerry to fill out an SF-180 and have all of his military records released. Now, I will fax that request.

Imus. Wow. That's impressive. Is he hitting Howard Stern next? Could it be he's a little desperate? My guess is Larry King is next.

Did he really? I bet that would make a good center piece for his campaign. If he only made secret trips into Cambodia delivering CIA operatives, he'd be a shoe-in for the presidency!
To: Tribemike
Everything posted here is true. Good and bad. However, I would like to point out the Imus "rat *&^$ed) Clinton at the press dinner a few years back. Clinton used to be on Imus all the time. Imus' roasting soon became pretty legendary stuff. Secondly, Kerry really screwed the kids at the Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer recently, I wouldn't be surprised that Imus rags him hard. Bottom line, Imus is unpredictable because he's an old crack whore from way back. I don't think Hanoi John will get off that easy. We'll all see, won't we.

I should have qualified "true". Imus never went to Cambodia. He was a crummy bugler in the Marine Corp.

Kerry can have Tah RAY Suh send a nice fat check to the Imus Ranch and buy him back...however, I think Imus may make a competing ketchup....
To: Russ
It will turn into a Bush-bashing duet. Guaranteed.
...need to "Lasorda-ize" that 'guarantee' word.
