God bless America.
I'm an American, a New Yorker, born and bred. I call on you to remember with grief, anger, and resolve this awful anniversary.
Remember the bravery of this city's firemen and police. Remember our stalwart Mayor. Remember the host of volunteers who did the dig-out work, and all the people who fed them and helped them. Remember the dead here in this city and at the Pentagon and the valiant souls aboard Flight 93. Honor all of them.
Let us honor them by resolving never to forget the barbarity of our enemies, those who killed our people on September 11. those who aided them, and those who seek to excuse these monstrously evil acts.
Let us honor them by not growing weary while we pursue and utterly destroy our enemies, denying them time and means to fulfill their plans to destroy us. That was the reason they attacked us and danced in their wretched streets at our losses. Let them not mistake our decency, our prosperity, our generosity and openness, our civilization for weakness. Let them feel our power and know our fury.
We will not let our noble nation turn craven nor bow to those who are craven and wrongly think themselves wise. They are fools without memories, and we rightly despise them and reject their counsel. Let us mock their fatuous ambassadors, foreign and domestic.
Resolutely, we will carry on our lives of freedom and independence as we have for two centuries and twenty-six years. We will build boldly, joyously, and delight in our prosperity. We will reward excellence and extend justice. We will lead the way.
God bless America.

May God bless America and our beloved soldiers who risk everything to protect us.
Thank you. My anger, hate and rage over The Massacre of September 11th, 2001, is alive and well. Never forget!
May all our fallen Americans, RIP.
I am watching the ceremony now. Our local village is having one right now as well.
NEVER FORGET!
I agree. NEVER FORGET.
I also remember being part of a law enforcement caravan that drove to a warehouse 200 miles outside of NYC to pick up some of the supplies and other items that had been donated for the rescue effort. There was so much that they had run out of room in NYC and all of the surrounding counties, and there was absolutely no way that they could ever use it all, so it was made available to local agencies.
It was incredible, and it was one of two DOZEN warehouses full of stuff.
Thanks for sharing that with us. It good to be reminded that our countrymen are generous, caring and compassionate people.
Courage as an American trait is something I have come to see since 9/11.
I'm exposed to a lot of different cultures, and it amazes me how very brave Americans are. It's nothing done consciously; it's just the way Americans are.
Does NBC realize yet, how petty and crass it is going to appear by having Kitty Kelly on shilling her lies the day after the President speaks on 911?
Dan Rather and Kitty Kelly certainly are distracting attention from 9/11. They couldn't be working harder if they were doing it deliberately.
I remember the post-9/11 days of subdued talking in the neighborhood grocery store,.
The atmosphere in the store eerily resembled a wake.
It was a notable change from the pre-911 pushy, loud Long Island shopping experience. (In general) People are remaining more polite, here, than they were pre-911.
To all the families of 9-11 victims, I cry for you and remember with you, not just this day, but everyday.. Today I pray for our wonderful President and the Armed Forces, some who have given the ultimate sacrifice for the 9-11 victims and Americas freedom...
Until we all meet again... Please bless america dear Father and keep her safe in your arms...
