Does anybody have phone contact info for CBS? I have looked but can't seem to find it. As mentioned in other threads CBS is now reporting on their website that the producers of the 60 Minutes report stand behind Rather and CBS News EVEN IF THE DOCUMENTS ARE FAKE! We need to call for Rather's resignation or perhaps start calling advertisers. It worked with the Reagans movie and it will work again.
60 Minutes had 6 weeks to check these documents! 6 WEEKS! WTF! HEADS SHOULD ROLL!
They keep trying to pin this on Bush by saying the White House "didn't question their accuracy"... HOW COULD THE BUSH WHITEHOUSE KNOW WHAT KILLIAN WAS THINKING AT THE TIME? SHOULDN'T CBS / DNC HAVE VETTED THEM BETTER THAN THAT?
The most important thing you can do is to contact CBS and voice your disgust about Dan Rather. Second, about CBS's anti-Bush taint, and third, send media links to the controversy to the advertisers and lodge a complaint with the advertisers that they must repudiate the 60 Minutes hit piece. Do they want their products associated with a politically motivated hatchet job which turns out to be a fraud?

This should be enough to put a LOT of heat on CBS if you're willing to do the work. Complain to CBS advertisers. Most of these are advertisers that were involved with the 60 Minutes slam on Bush, but hey, complain to them and ask for them to pull their advertising from the Bush Hating CBS...

Ask just what "investigation" went into authenticating the memos and whether they will offer an on-air retraction.

I told him all I was asking was why they wouldn't name their "expert" who guaranteed these documents were frauds.
Then I listed ABC, and a couple others who had named their experts, and said, I can understand you wanting to protect your sources (which I think is a crock, but it added to my argument) but why should your "expert" be secret.
He made some excuse and I went on to say, in a court of law the "expert" testimony is not anonymous. They need to give the name of the person who guaranteed the docs weren't forgeries.
The CBS guy gave me a curt "I understand" and hung up!
Just wrote to them. Home Depot will be especially attentive I hope. I own a welding company in Phoenix Arizona and informed Home Depot I will not be buying hundreds of dollars of supplies and tools every week from them and will go to Lowe's instead. I told them that if they quit advertising on CBS or convince CBS to come clean then I will instruct my trucks that they can go back the Home Depot again. Hope thousands of letters similar will get them to take action.
Guys I've been to the "CBS News' 60 Minutes II (Wed)" webpage today and I was shocked to see a Wal-Mart add highlighting a DVD club..
Not what I expected to see while digging through the website.
I've already explained my shock to Wal-Mart on this today..
