Actor Ron Silver got a much warmer welcome at the convention Monday night - but will his speech get a chilly reception in Hollywood?Even though Silver made it plain in his address that he disagrees with President Bush on domestic issues, he claims he is catching it for hailing the war on Saddam.
"I've already been feeling it socially," Silver tells us. "[Democrats] don't want to engage in any real conversation about post-9/11 security. They are so blinded by their Bush hatred."
After chiding Tinseltown Kerry supporters in his speech, Silver says, "The Hollywood Reporter headline read, 'Actor Silver Rips Colleagues.'"
Does he think script offers will dry up?
"I have no way to know," he says. "Ironically, I just did an episode for 'Law & Order.' I play a defense lawyer defending a Muslim terrorist."
as someone in "the biz" I can guarantee Mr. Silver that the new blacklist has taken root. Hopefully it will not be a long chill. I was sympathetic to those on the left that lived through it. Many seem to have forgotten lessons that should have been learned a long time ago.

[Democrats] don't seem to want to engage in any productive dialog at all. That's the problem. They don't address issues, they don't debate. They call names and say that something is a "lie" without providing any evidence to the contrary. You're expected to accept whatever they say without question.
Regardless of what he said or his opinion, the only thing I can say about him is he always looked like a snake!
