PROFIT TAKING AT IOWA ELECTRONIC MARKET (BUSH LOSES 10-pt. LEAD)
Iowa Electronic Market ^ | September 1st, 2004 | Remember_Salamis

Posted on 08/31/2004 10:24:07 PM PDT by Remember_Salamis

Bush' 10 point lead disappeared in the matter of 2 hours. I see it as profit taking and the low low price of Kerry Stock

There's no corresponding change at Tradesports.com, so I think my theory is right.

Let's just hope that it wasn't because of the godawful Bush Twins speech, with traders thinking that anybody who'd allow that stinker of a speech up there doesn't know what they're doing.

The RNC overplayed their hand putting those two up there between two genuinely big names. The Sex-in-the-City mocking of Grandma can put off a lot of middle-americans. That show is slutty trash and most Bush voters reject it. To throw it in Barbara's face was in essence throwing it in all our faces. These supposedly adult girls gave a speech fit for a precocious, bratty 14 year old. The Stupid Party strikes again...

I 'got' the 'shake it like a poloroid,' but the mono and bono baffled me (I know bono, and I know what mono is, but no connection there, sorry).

Get real. No one watched the Bush daughters speech. I turned the volume down and proceeded to hop on the phone to discuss the Arnie's speech.

The Bush Daughters effect, if there really is one, will disappear by the end of the convention. Bigger fish to fry, as they say.

Watch out, everyone. The Bush-twins-walk-on-water crowd from the live convention thread will get you thrown off FR if you dare to say anything other than: "those girls were delightful!"

I mean, they're cute, sure, but...vapid!

Those Bush daughters!!!!!

I had to turn them off. It was too much for me. Just a bump in the road, though, and their vapid and insipid joke/speech will soon be forgotten unless the MSM decides that is the story of the week.

Anybody on this forum who thinks the Bush twins adversely affected anything is seriously anal.

They're just kids, they did their thing, and they're fine.

Dig out the wedgies, boys.

Anyone who thinks the CUTE Bush daughter's silly speech will effect even one single vote should head on back to DU. :)

More shares of were bought in Kerry today than any other day thus far (5,000+). It was the 2nd-largest volume for Bush stock ever, only eclipsed by Jul 30th trading, which was the day after the DNC convention ended. I smell profit taking.

Is there a financial chartologist to look at this thing???

Funny, we both used vapid within 30 seconds of each other to describe that speech.

What the heck was any of it? Worse performance I have seen at a scripted convention in a long time. Even Thereeeeeeeeeeeeessssa was better than that. Maybe will be lucky and they will start campaigning for Kerry. It's a shame cause Barbera is a gorgeous. And I'm 25 years old not like those older pervs on here ooogling those twins : ) Despite the minor flop Bush is going to win in November.

Cute and vapid is right. But hardly an issue to enter into the election. More the gaffe was "can't win the war" statement earlier. Though he covered it will on Rush, I wish he'd never said it.

Anyway, the betting down-tick is surely profit-taking and nothing more. Now is a good time to buy Bush.

I didn't think the hamster story from the Kerry girls and Teresa's speech was that great either.
