Something to Yak About Major Kerry Donor Behind Upcoming 527 Attack on President
With all these left-wing 527 groups popping up you know, the ones that can receive and spend tens of millions of dollars on partisan campaign politics with virtually no accountability its getting just a little redundant, dontchathink? Nevertheless, one of the newest such groups helping John Kerrys efforts calls itself the Environmental Accountability Fund, which is now readying itself to bash away on President Bush over bogus enviro-beefs. Turns out this newly hatched 527 received seed money from billionaire liberal John Sperling, whos also a major Kerry campaign contributor! Federal Election Commission records show Sperling gave the maximum contribution to Kerry on May 27, 2004 after dropping $100,000.00 for the EAF last November. Hes also a campaign bundler for Kerry. Does this sound like the Kerry campaigns own standard for a so-called "front group" to launch yet another smear against the president?
Billionaire 527 Backer Bundled Big Bucks For Kerry
USA Todays Jim Drinkard outlined 527 donor John Sperlings campaign fundraising prowess earlier this month, noting that Sperling has been a, significant donor to Democratic candidates and party committees over the past decade, giving about $344,000 during that time. He says he has raised about $400,000 in individual contributions for Kerry this year. Four hundred grand for Kerry, one hundred grand for a 527 front group whats up with that?
Sperling and Soros Like Peas and Carrots on Dope Initiatives
John Sperling and fellow liberal billionaire and 527 patron George Soros also share an interest in making it easier for folks to get dope. Seems these two Billionaires for Kerry bankrolled three unsuccessful pro-marijuana initiatives in Nevada, Arizona and Ohio two years ago. When it comes to spending their fortunes on left-wing causes and support for John Kerry, these guys definitely do not bogart their checkbook.

The Final Yak
I dont want to waste my time investing in popular things. Anyone can go and give money for kids literacy and things like that, but how many people are going to invest in unpopular things? (SOURCE: John Sperling, quoted in Fortune Magazine, April 29, 2004)
The environment rates waaaay down on the list of big concerns in this election cycle.

Very possibly. Worth tracing how students pay for their educations. Any Pell Grants involved?????? That is definately Federal.
Hastert on Fox this morning mentioned dope in the same breath as Soros and Chris Wallace said "Whaat? Are you suggesting dope cartels are behind Soros?" And Hastert said that's just the point -- the 527's have little accountability and the source of money is not always known.
