Low oil / gas prices are one of the most important keys to W's re-election. This is a good thing -- especially in the short-term.

If you paid $50 month last year for gas you are now paying $100 a month. That is $50 of disposable income taken away. Retailers will feel this in several months. It will start to show soon in the economic numbers. SO, be prepared for a little/large ripple in the economy.

Low oil / gas prices are one of the most important keys to W's re-election. This is a good thing -- especially in the short-term. But the Dems continue to bark about the high cost of gas and how Bush should stop filling the reserve and do something to bring gas prices down.
Well, if our elected officials [both state and federal] want to do something that will IMMEDIATELY lower the gas price, they can REDUCE FEDERAL AND STATE TAXES ON GASOLINE!!!
