Are you the republican version of John Kerry? Pull something you disagree with?
The party figures we have nowhere to go. Corporate interest want that cheap labor. They'll be here from now until the election telling us why any opposition is worse than what they offer.
I was writing this four years ago, as a potato-E-head. The corporate interests and the social conservatives are not on the same side of a lot of issues. Yet, they need our votes....or at least that we don't vote for viable opposition.
On their radio show - which can be streamed live at kfi640.com - they explained that this article was from someone they trusted and respected. I assume it's from either a KFI or LAT reporter, or perhaps the WashTimes.
Over a rumor put out by a couple of deejays? Really?
"Are you the republican version of John Kerry? Pull something you disagree with?"
Are you? Believing conspiracy theories with no evidence to back them up?
I don't like the post because it's unsourced rumor. I'd like it pulled too.
It is sourced, if you would click on the link reference.
I heard that too. I got the impression it was a reporter, as they said this was not where it would normally be "reported."
DJ's are no better than terrorists!
They're holding up their end of the bargain -- Their corporate campaign donors keep the coffers full, and the GOP responds by keeping the flow of cheap (illegal) labor a-comin'. And then there's the added "benefit" of appearing "compasionate" and "sensitive," and therefore (hopefully) making inroads into the welfare-state electorate. The downside? It pisses off conservatives. .....a small sacrifice, apparently.
C'mon. We know that this will be a tightly controlled and highly scripted event. Ain't gonna be no disunity at this show. We also know the Presidnet has been more than generous with illegals especially from Mexico. A problem with that position. Depends on perspective.
"They're holding up their end of the bargain -- Their corporate campaign donors keep the coffers full, and the GOP responds by keeping the flow of cheap (illegal) labor a-comin'."
Then why don't you write an expose about exactly which big R contributors hire illegal aliens, and where they work?
Since you seem so sure of this, I'm sure you know exactly where they all are.
Sorry, I don't buy that. You can if you want to, but frankly, I'll be disappointed if the convention isn't tightly scripted. What are you hoping for? A free for all? Real nice.
"If you want me to believe then give me some proof"
In the nearly 3 years since 911, countless numbers of foreign enemies have entered our country by illegally crossing the borders both north and south.
Even though the NUMBER ONE prime directive of our government is to ensure National Security, little more than payment of lip service has been done to protect Americans on American Soil.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Second of all, this may be a plant by the Kerry campaign to scare off conservative voters. I wouldn't trust ANYTHING posted by those two homos from California, John & Ken.
Except for the fact they are having numerous christian bands perform, having fundamentalist christians write up the gop platform on life and a having a handful of other pro-lifer christians speak you might possibly somewhere be onto something. Get over it we need every vote we can get this year whether you like it or not.
