Just spoke to a co-worker who's a Vietnam Vet...
Self

Posted on 08/19/2004 3:14:41 PM PDT by dmanLA

I asked him if he had friends that are Vietnam Vets. He said yes. So I followed up by asking how his friends feel about Kerry. "All of them think he's a jerk," was the reply.

Where does Kerry get these Vets to support him? Is he paying them?

I just communicated with a Vet online who said this and likes Kerry:

Those North Viet Namese were defending their country just like you and I wou if some bastards invaded us. They were gutsy hard assed little guys and after all is said and done I respect them for defending their country.

Shouldn't you defend your country first?

You would think so.

I asked him what he thought of the Communists when they killed 2,000,000. No answer.

Some guys have guts but no honor. Kerry for example wasn't a coward all the time. He did some heroic things. He's just not above dishonoring vets for political gain.

If my husband had been at the VFW hall yesterday, he would not only have stood with his back to Kerry, but he would have seriously considered mooning him. Kerry is a traitor. The guys who got hurt by him won't forget.

Looks like the union thugs are behind Kerry all the way. No doubt some of them are Vietnam Vets.

Many Vets I have spoken to all think about the same thing. They say mostly that he has the right to say and do the things has has, but he is a liar.

My neighbor is a vet who served on PBR boats in the Mekong delta. He says the fact that Kerry acts like his boat was alone all the time proves him to be a liar.

We have our 4-H Fair locally. They have all kinds of booths. Interestingly the Veterans booth is next to the Republican booth while the Demoncrat booth is not in it's usual place but alot further away. Usually they grouped them together.

I asked the Vets what they thought of Kerry. They tried to be diplomatic but I pushed them alittle. They HATE him. They see right through him. They see he is a lying opportunist that has disgraced them ALL with his lies.

Please name one clear and undisputed heroic action of Jean Fraude Kerrí's.

> Where does Kerry get these Vets to support him?

The rumor is that the day JfK got his Silver, he put his
whole boat in for bogus medals (making it the most highly
decorated Swift for a single action in the entire war).
If so, it's simple blackmail. And if the issue stays in
play long enough, I suspect we'll get confirmation or
dismissal of this rumor.

> Is he paying them?

That can't be ruled out, but my guess is that his lackeys
would have approached more than the 3 "brothers", and at
least one vet would have turned him down, and gone public
with the bribe story.

For the most part, it remains an interesting question.

If that guy actually liked the Vietnamese, try this one on him:

What Kerry Really Did in Vietnam

It's from a left-wing source attacking Kerry for war crimes. It's almost as rough on Kerry as Unfit for Duty...

Actually I've read quite a few like-minded sentiments of the VC, and the N. Viet Regular Army.

It always appeared to me...that there was some respect for them. They fought hard, under miserable conditions..and died alot.

Didn't mean they tried to make friends with them...

FWIW-

What's with this Rassman guy? I just read he is some kind of clerk who would write up medals, and so when he met Kerry, it was kismet. There ought to be someone who knew this guy in Vietnam or in his job as a cop who can say that Rassman is a screwball....because he is.

I heard Sean Hannity say that he has them traveling all over the country and staying in 5 star hotels, living large. Probably all sorts of hidden incentives is I was guessing.
