Vote For Bush If You Believe In Human Ambition
Opinion | August 17th, 2004 | Clark Erik McCallister

The thread is as it sounds. I have come to strongly believe that having George W. Bush as president for the next four years may as well be important to, even necessary for human ambition. Now, I will let you know why.

It has come to my belief that because of the largely underrated tax cuts Bush proposed, that our president understands the meaning of Free Enterprise. It has been shown that such tax cuts have improved our economy, and may even be necessary to protect the concept of business.

I believe that a capitalist society creates room for ambition because business can make the dreams of many come alive, and no offense to John Kerry; I'm sure he's a nice guy personally; I don't think he understands the concept of capitalism's potential the way Bush seems to.

When you get to the bottom of it, I choose to vote for Bush, because I am a young man who plans to advance myself through business. Out of love for my family (and for myself too, I can admit that), I wish to advance myself financially through capitalism, and simply put, I don't believe that a Democratic president for the next four or even eight years, will help with these issues. You may not care about me, and that's just fine, but if you care about your own, or your children's hopes and dreams, I urge you to participate in re-electing George W. Bush for the next term.

Things may be looking bad now, but I believe that come 2008, Bush will have done more good than the people believed; if he gets the chance. Thanks for reading.

It is interesting that conservatives have become a driving force for scientific discovery. All we ask is that it's real science that produces real results. Plus theres the added bonus that we don't seek tax dollars to do it, we only want restrictions eased on corporations that have the means.
