Did Uncle teddy drive his fat ass off another bridge?
Well heck, I saw the answer it in the movies. You just get Harry Stamper and AJ and his buddies Bear, etc., to drill a really big hole, put in a nuke, and tadaaaaaa! They save the world. Hey it worked in outerspace - should work under water....
Hmm, is this the same geologist who was on that cable TV special a year or so ago, clambering around the side of a volcano, detailing how the entire western side of that island would eventually collapse? It sounded plausible, even at two am. Program was followed by the Giant Tsunami Ends the World as We Know It special. Scared me half to death. It's one thing after another. Terrorists or tsunamis or collapsing volcanoes and asteroids. Or, horror of horrors...Dorkman and Shoveit! Woman in the WH. We've had it.
I have also read that the estimated population of hominids around the end of the last ice age may have been below 10,000, possibly close to 6,000. That may be another reason there isn't much evidence of major works. The "light" nearly went out.
You were the first to use the word asteroid in this thread ... but that word is the only relevant element to understand the timing of this story - as it was explained here, yesterday :¨
This is just great! I not only have to worry about surviving a terrorist attack during the Republican convention but NOW my month at the beach in October!
Oh well, I'll worry about that tomorrow.........
It's no threat. It's the right thing to do. Vote Bush! Many will.
That "estimated number of hominids" is based on the evidence observed. I'm suggesting the evidence was, for the most part, destroyed!
Sort of! But....I also get the heebee jeebee's thinking about getting eaten alive by fire ants and killer bees. Seriously, being at the beach and a big wall of water approaching - that's my worst nightmare.
It's a joke.
