Well, I hope he doesn't claim that the state is back now that he's spending more money and has only partially addressed state comp. Geez Arnold, buy a vowel fella.

Yeah, I don't know much about Franks, but he's coming off very classy and in command.

Franks is amazing... Letterman should have him on for the full hour!

Tommy Franks is absolutely amazing... and Letterman is - surprisingly - asking some excellent questions. The one and only reason I tuned in tonight was to see Gen. Tommy Franks. I rarely watch Letterman anymore either.

Tommy Franks as well as Rudy make great spokesman.
One thing about Letterman, when he is around libs like Hillary and BJ, he fawns all over them. When he is around men like Franks and Rudy his whole tone changes. He's almost reverential. He doesn't laugh as much and actually listens to the answers to his questions.

He almost did. I was shocked.

He even had to bump a guest to keep Franks.

Obviously Letterman has got notice about poor ratings due to his endless list of lefties lately.

HEy, I missed it. I was trying to get a 3 yr old to sleep. Did Franks put Letterman in his place. That man (letterman) is an idiot. I have never liked him. And I mean really, come on man, marry the woman who gave birth to your kid. (or did he do that, I haven't watched in a while).

I saw Tommy Franks and thought he was very impressive. Please, make this guy Secretary of Defense if Bush gets reelected. I was also impressed by the respectful tone that Letterman showed him. Compared to Arnold, Jay is a girlyman.

Letterman actually brought up the fact that things in Iraq aren't as bad as the media makes them out to be. I was suprised, to say the least.

I actually saw a posting online the other day that said that the new priminister of Iraq actually begged the US media to start reporting the truth. He said, and I quote "The US presence in Iraq is 90% good and 10% bad but the US press only reports the 10% bad". That should tell you something huh? It is nice to know that someone out west can see through the smog to the truth.
