[snip]The two Mrs. Bushes earn consistently high ratings among both Democrats and Republicans. The senior Mrs. Bush is everybodys no-nonsense mom strong, kind and humorous. As for Laura, whats not to like? An attractive, feminine librarian, shes an utterly uncontroversial Toll House wife and mother who enjoys reading to kids and publicly defers to her husband without seeming obsequious.
Then comes Teresa, a native of Mozambique talking about un-American traits, an extraordinarily wealthy woman who, whatever charms she may possess, clearly isnt used to playing by the usual rules of civility toward lesser mortals. The rich really are different than the rest of us, but the smart and well-informed ones let the little guys believe otherwise. At least until their husbands get elected to the White House

The Dems assume that the tax-return isue is closed..It ain't, and it's going to be a huge problem for them..
More telling was Teresa Heinz Kerry. She pointed to the picture of the bowl of chilli above the clerk's head: "What's that?" she asked.
Zsa Zsa's billion dollars won't buy her an ounce of class. Pity.
The Dems can never quite hide their elitism, arrogance, and smug sense of superiority. Today there was a column in the local paper by William Raspberry about Obama; the headline included the word "redemption," as if Obama and the Dems are our saviors. No Republican could get away with such overblown, messianic rhetoric.
Gee, are you putting words in her mouth?!!
Yep, the tax issue was raised just this morning by someone. Saying that "if she is going to get into the fray, then she needs to submit her tax reports." The person also suspected that she probably pays little taxes, which is why she doesn't want to release them.
No matter how hard the Kerry camp spins her outburst, regular folk those so beloved by the two-Americas, two-John ticket see it as behavior unbecoming a first lady.
Amen!
I think we need to be very cautious about Obama.
Not for right now, but I think he is dangerous.

She pointed to the picture of the bowl of chilli above the clerk's head: "What's that?" she asked.
She learns something new everyday:
I think it was my mother that told me that rude rich people are generally termed "eccentric" by their camp followers. She also described people who behaved like TH-K as being "common as pigs tracks". That is an apt description as far as I'm concerned.
When I see all those pics of Kerry windsurfing, riding his $5,000 bike, skiing, etc., one thought comes to mind - "rich guy." No amount of populist rhetoric can make that go away.
She'll ditch him when he loses. Not right away, but she'll do it.
Rich or not; the woman is a wack job. She has no business being considered for First Lady of America. She isn't even close to fitting the role.
Maybe that's what she meant by becoming "well informed."
I heard a woman who said her father had met THK in the sixties when she was married to Heinz. Said she was a political "garden tool".
Now that's funny
No, it was on a thread yesterday and Rush had it in his first segment today.
She didn't eat it either and John didn't finish his Frosty, which he did know what it was also.
No mention of what the Edwards did.
