Are those registered voters, likely voters, or just "adults"?

Looks like Gallup doesn't want to get caught "cooking the books" like USA Today, Newsweek, LA Times. LOL! They still care about being respected in the morning.

I had all along been predicting a 6 to 8 point bump in the post-convention Gallup poll... I just didn't think it would be a 6 to 8 point bump for BUSH!

Instead of having a Republican National Convention in August, could we just have another Democrat one?

Don't worry, folks like EJ Dionne will show how this is all part of Kerry's masterful plan to lure Republicansi nto complacency, and it also shows how Bush is a liar. Or something.

I hope they keep the windows locked at DU HQ! :)

Aw shucks!

I was predicting a 10 point bump for President Bush coming out of the DNC convention.

I'm devastated by this weak showing.

OK OK sarcasm off.

That seems likely. Gallup is a polling company. The others use polls to sell their fishwraps. The "news" organizations aren't selling polls. They're selling the headlines the polls generate.
