New Bombshell Book: UNFIT FOR COMMAND

XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX THU JULY 29, 2004 10:24:25 ET XXXXX

KERRY WAR COMRADES PREPARE BATTLE -- AGAINST KERRY

Capped by Kerry's primetime speech to accept the Democratic Party's nomination, Thursday's program will include appearances and remarks by Kerry's Swift Boat crewmates, the Kerry-Edwards campaign announced in a press release this morning.

But a group of veterans will soon try to convince a nation how what is presented on the convention stage tonight -- may not be the full story: "Only 2 of John Kerry's 23 fellow Swift boat commanders from Coastal Division 11 support his candidacy today."

A new bombshell book written by the man who took over John Kerry's Swift Boat charges: Two of John Kerry's three Purple Heart decorations (#1 and #3) resulted from self-inflicted wounds, not suffered under enemy fire.

The startling Purple Heart accusations, outlined in detail for the first time, are found in UNFIT FOR COMMAND, Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry.

And that's just the beginning.

The book, previewed by the DRUDGE REPORT, will be unleashed next month by REGNERY.

The book hit #2 on the AMAZON sales chart on the eve of the Kerry acceptance speech in Boston.

Swift Boat Veterans began to fume after Kerry's campaign used a photograph of John Kerry and 19 other Coastal Division 11 Swift boat officers [taken at Ton Sun Nuht Air Base on January 22, 1969] in a pro-Kerry advertisement.

William Shumadine, a member of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth pictured in the photograph, explains in UNFIT: "John Kerry's use of a photograph with his nineteen comrades, with knowledge that eleven of them comdemn him and six who cannot or do not want to be involved, is a complete misreprentation to the public and a total fraud."

[A major campaign is being planned, beginning next week, over 200 anti-Kerry vets involved, with news conferences in battleground states.]

I wonder if he was wearing his bunny suit when he 'won' his Purple Hearts.

If this turns into a nasty dispute between the Swift Boat Vets for Truth and Kerry, then you might see some coverage of the dispute on the alphabet networks. This might motivate some viewers to look into what the Swift Boat Vets are saying about Kerry. But you won't hear the most important statements made by the Swift Boat Vets on the alphabet networks--specifially you'll never hear that his entire chain of command thinks he is unfit to be commander-in-chief. There's an iron curtain in the liberal networks set up to keep this information from the public.

It will out, the Berlin wall came down.

The internet is a wonderful thing...I only wished that I had invented it.

I learned a long time ago not to give anything to the library. If its not politically correct they stamp it discard and drop it in the box for the library sale at 50 cents a pound.

Is this the same John O'Neil who gave a nominating speech for Nixon?

This book may get covered by the alphabet networks, but there will be heavy spin applied by Clintonoid spin doctors. They will try to paint O'Neill and his group as just Pubbies who are an unoffical part of the Bush campaign. The Swift Boat Vets will have to stick together and work tirelessly to go around the left-wing spin doctors and tell their story directly to the public. I've heard O'Neill a couple of times on the Larry Elder radio show and he was quite effective. Limbaugh and Hannity need to jump on this book and define the book and the men who wrote it before the lefties have a chance to distort the truth about this book. But we do have the great advantage that the book will be sold directly to the public with no spin or editing applied to it. The power of the printing press is indeed awesome when properly used.

The Vets for Kerry are on right now. It's interesting to see them standing before a bunch of people who were calling them baby-killers, three decades ago.

I seriously doubt it. He'd have to have been very high up in the Republican party to do that. He never has been.

He is the guy, though, who debated kerry on Dick Cavett's show (1972?) regarding kerry's allegations of war crimes. He has consistently refused to participate in any political activity against kerry up until now. As long as kerry wasn't running for president, neither O'Neil nor any of the other swifties ever opposed him.
