I was in Crawford tonight. It was disappointing to see how many people would drive to the middle of nowhere to see this pick of junk movie, but there were many there. Definitely the Pro-Bush group was larger, but we weren't allowed near the football field with our signs. If we wanted to hold our signs or even wear our buttons, we had to do it on the main street, about 6 blocks from where the movie was being shown. I do have to say...we had a GREAT time, loads of fun. I have pixs that I'll post after I get some sleep.

zlala,
Was the movie held at the High School Football Stadium in Crawford?

If so, one has to wonder if they should have been allowed to show it there. That thing is built with taxpayer money.
And this movie is not a non profit flick.

I wanted to be down there with the Pro Bush gang...but I had to fly with some folks into Oklahoma early this morning.
Anyway, thank for going down there and protecting my family's home county area.

Were you and I at the same event?! We were completely outnumbered! I was at the football field (in the parking lot, granted, but not 6 blocks away). Were y'all greeting people as they came into the downtown area or something? There were maybe 50 or so where I was, and there were some more inside the taped-off area who were watching the movie. We had to stay a certain distance away if we were carrying signs, but we weren't too far. We could see and hear the screen pretty well (except for when we were shouting!).

I sure wish your group and mine had combined; we definitely needed more power. Oh well, we'll get it together next time......

You've hit on one of my pet peeve issues - but no supporter of this Administration can balk at being confined to a "free-speech zone" when they want to do a little protesting.
