'West Wing' might end soon, actor says

Richard Schiff, who plays White House communications director Toby Ziegler on the NBC political drama, says he doesn't expect the show to last much longer.

"I honestly don't think it's the last year, but maybe the year after that," he said Wednesday night before a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert sponsored by the Creative Coalition, of which he is a member.

"The plans are that it's going to go a full term, eight years. Thank God, constitutionally we can't go more than that," said Schiff, who was nominated for a best supporting actor Emmy in 2002.

And if that's when the show does end, then "that'd be fine by me," he said. "I used to do a lot of movies. I was used to moving around a lot and I'm anxious to do that again."

Presidents can serve two four-year terms — a total of eight years.

Looks like the left is already throwing in the towel.

Love that bit of civics they throw in.

Presidents can have also served the remaining time from the previous president for whom they were VP when the president dies in ofice. And if the VP serves less than 2 years of the old guy's term, he can run for a full 2 terms after that, making one day shy of 10 years the most you can be president now.

Make no mistake, the left wing was an Al Gore campaign commercial, which, like AlGore refuses to die

The only reason for the show to end, is that it's a placebo for The Left since they lost power. Since they fully expect to reoccupy their former palace, they won't need the placebo anymore.

I'm sure Hillary! had the date marked in her dayplanner before John "I WANT TO LIVE" Kerry chose Little John.

I thought it went off the air about the same as Hill Street Blues.

I didn't know that show was still on.

I've never seen the show either, nor anything network.

Bottom line is even BIG MEDIA can't save the Dolt From Mass.

That show only existed for Dem propaganda.
It started about a year or so before the last election...and it will end after this election.

And it will suffer defeat in both.

Well, whadaya expect?

Martin Sheen has been the President of the freaks ever since krintigula was revealed choking his rooster in the Oval Office sink. The entire show was manufactured to give cover to the failed RAT X42 scum and to recapture the attention and allegiance of the hapless zombie victims of the cathode ray tube.

What do I know? I'm back in 88, watching George HW Bush's speech & wondering where Dukakis is hiding out these days.

Too bad Mushroom Boy left before he could have his show canceled out from under him.

I'm really going to miss it. BTW, I didn't know it was still on. I've not watched more than five minutes of the show since it started. That five minutes was of the first show. I turned it off and never went back. I'm doing just fine thanks...

I wouldn't waste the energy it takes to move my thumb to watch Martin Scheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen do anything! I dispise him almost as much as I do Hanoi Jane.

Ed Assner is another one.

"I quit watching when they turned hard left and Sheen started all his stuff"

That means you only watched one episode.
