Nicely written. The convention is quickly turning into a disaster for the Democrats, bringing up people time and time again that look and sound better than Kerry ever has. My, I can't wait for tonight(?) when Edwards gets up to show the world how great Kerry is.. Err, I mean, that's the plan, isn't it?

Maybe they should just rename the convention for 2008...

Over on AOL, there was a news story on the main screen with a headline that was something like "Teresa Wows Convention."

"Wows"? Is that the verb you use to describe someone boring thousands of people into a mass coma?

As long as Hillary is still breathing, she will be the #1 topic of 2004/2008 Presidential speculation. Everyone else is irrelevant.

The mainstream media's days of annointing anyone are dwindling. Information flowing among life/freedom will see to that. Thanks for reporting live from the funeral of propaganda.

"...Teresa's comment that she wanted an America in which "opinionated" women (such as herself) would be respected as smart and knowledgeable."

I've know people with mental disorders from incipient dementia to paranoia to borderline personality disorders and schizophrenia who can carry on a conversation that seems lucid at the beginning and then it becomes obvious that there is a real problem as the threads become more and more disjointed and bizarre. Ter-A-za impresses me in that way.

As for Obama, his speech was surreal as he attempts to state the democrats are for unity all the while a torrent of books, media, movies, and statements from the left trashing every conservative, rightwing, President Bush and Administration pollute the political process. The democrat "values" are nothing more than divide, divide, divide and conquer.

Who do they think they are kidding? Not the Independents that's for sure.

I'm not adding a thing, I'm just posting this and folks can think whatever they like about it. From this link:

Illinois - Peter Fitzgerald is retiring, making his seat vie with Murkowski's for the title of "most likely Democratic pick-up." Democratic state senator Barack Obama is currently leading Republican inner-city teacher (and former investment banker) Jack Ryan in polls. It has recently been reported Jack Ryan has abandoned his candidacy amid sex club allegations. This basically leads to an easy victory for Barack Obama. PAKPAC Supporters, Pakistani Americans, and American Muslims in Illinois active in their communities are requested to contact us at Senate2004@pakpac.net and also begin understanding and relationship with Mr. Obama.

Russert said that "this is who she is and they did the best they could with her"

The increasingly craven David Brooks, pet "conservative" of the NYT, said exactly the same thing last night, that "I like her" and that one must "let Theresa be Thersa."

"People should be able to speak their mind," said Brooks of the "shove it" incident, failing to note that Theresa was flatly lying and that the Tribune reporter was unfailingly polite in his questions.

"no liberal America, no conservative America, just the United States of America."

You are so right obama. There is a HATE BUSH liberal America, a Conservative America. That is why there is no United America. The RAT party is so out of tuoch with the real America. First black president, don't think so. Dr. Condi Rice will beat you to that spot, if she wants it.

"...Teresa seemed heavily sedated, speaking in a very slow, depressed monotone."

I thought the same thing. I only watched for a few moments but noticed that when she blinked her eyes one opened slower that the other. She did this several times.

He sounded like a moderate then, he said what Bill Cosby advocate and talked about one America. I thought I was hearing some of the same things I have echoed here on this forum. He didn't get issue specific though b/c that is where his liberalism will bear his true colors.(pardon the pun)

I caught-between innings of Rangers/Angels- Mark Shields commnets on Next president keynote speeches. MS had a lsit from Kennedy to Luger of 12 or more people in both parties who would be the next president and they did not even make it to the nomination.

Would agree that 'electrified' is a bit overstated; 'desperately enthusiastic' would be more like it.

These are 'needy' people. . .they want to clap and cheer but it has not been 'effortless effort'.

The real challenge awaits them.

"Then it was on to Katie's interview with Elizabeth Edwards, who will introduce her husband tonight, and their daughter Cate [sic] who will introduce her mother. "

Gee, couldn't they find someone to introduce Cate? Perhaps one of the little Edwards kids that Sen. Exlax has been dragging around the country for photo ops could do it.

Question, can anyone point me to the thread that discussed the Times guy saying they're a lib rag?
