Over on AOL, there was a news story on the main screen with a headline that was something like "Teresa Wows Convention."

"Wows"? Is that the verb you use to describe someone boring thousands of people into a mass coma?

Claiming that Teresa "wowed" the convention is nothing short of journalistic malpractice. Like her or love her, or her speech, no one who watched the hall can claim the crowd was excited by it. As one observer mentioned, the predominant emotion seemed to be confusion.

"Teresa Wows Convention."

That headline has a different meaning for me, since my mother taught her daughters to use WOW as a euphemism for a lower part of the female anatomy. LOL!

WOWS? Really? Those people on AOL are easily wowed then. She did have me rolling on the floor though. Actually, I take that back. The FReeper's comments during her lullaby had my rolling on the floor.

LOL. . .ruth is, no one could make that climb to 'wow' for Teresa; and it showed.
