Larry Elder is at the DNC convention and managed to score an interview with Jenine Garafalo. Although it was only a few minutes, Jeneane played her entire deck of cards: "conservatives are bigots, Ashcroft is violating the Constitution, etc..." and, in a fit of exaspiration, she told Larry he was a shill for the Republicans. (which makes her sound like the racist, because she identifies Larry as a black man who's lost his way, rather than an individual with his own mind.)
Larry is waiting for an interview with Jesse Jackson that was promised to him, but which may never come. In the meanwhile, the debate with Garafalo will be repeated at 5:00pm west coast time!

I don't think anyone is going to see this now because somehow it got stuffed into "bloggers/personal." But Larry just said he's agreed to be on Jenine's Air America after his show is over. Do we get that station in LA? Also, a caller told Larry that Jenine referred to him as a "fascist" and a "house negro" on her show.
I don't think we can that crap here. I don't know think he is going to be on. After he tore her up, suddenly she has no time.

No, the new word is that he's going to be on for ten minutes on her show. Now, how is she going to talk to a man she just called a house negro fascist?

Can you hear Air America? Apparently Jenine is talking about Larry right now. Wish I could hear it. I'd love to know how all these white liberals give themselves permission to be racist and use discriminatory language about black people they don't agree with.
Can you imagine if Larry came up with derrogatory names for Jenine? Of course he wouldn't, but the very idea would have Jenine crying into her coffee cup and and the liberal news sources holding it up as an example of "mean spirited Republican hate speech."
It's on now. She's explaining how she believes that people who rallied against the Dixie Chicks were masogynists and haters who are crazy and just like to hate people, including blacks and Arabs. Larry asks if there are any elected officials who are racists. She says "Strom Thurmond" and he was always a racist because he didn't proclaim he had an illigitimate black daughter. Larry asks about Robert Byrd. She says it's unfortunate that he was in the KKK. She asks Larry to get to the point.
Larry asks why she's a democrat since a larger percentage of Reps voted for the civil rights act than did Dems. She says there was a break and the Dems became the party of civil rights. She says she's a member of the Democratic wing of the Democratic party, and Larry asks her what that means. Larry says if her standard is the civil rights act, she should be a Republican. Jenine says the new face of the GOP is ugly. She names John Ashcroft and says because he didn't turn over memos. Now she's saying what is Larry's point and "this show sucks" and she's threatening to leave. Larry asks her to tell what Ashcroft has done to make him the ugly right wing. She names the torture memos and violations of the detanees in Gitmo.-- here's where Larry could have made a stronger case about the rights of the prisoners. After claiming the Patriot Act is wrong she tells Larry to just sit there and be a shill for the Republicans and then she leaves.
I just heard the replay & Larry knows about her house negro comments. He is going to do her show in 10 minutes. She will have 2 other people helping her. She is pathetic & I bet she cancels the interview in the next 6 minutes.
No.I want to "SEE" Larry Elder stomp Jenine Garawfulo or whatever her name is.
