McDermott should be in jail for his role in reeceiving and transmitting the illegal taping of the Gringrich phone coversation. Obviously liberals and the ACLU really do not care about citizen rights such as privacy or they would be demanding it.
McDermott-- "the first to trample on our rights"--that should be his label.

Is there any good conservative challengers to McDermott?
To: ppaul
He told the students that changes in military combat tours is "an unwritten, sneak draft." And he said an official draft could be coming soon. "Everybody in this room who is 17 years old should know that the likelihood of a draft in a second Bush administration is almost a certainty," McDermott said. And conveniently forgets to tell them that two Dem Senators are the ones that have proposed the legislation for the draft or that Bush is opposed to a draft. Arrrrgggghhhhh...

cconservative challengers to McDermott? There have been.
They lost by wide margins.
In Seattle, they love McDermott (Remember, this is where they erected a huge bronze statue of Lenin.)

We have an EXCELLENT challenger to McDimwitt.
Unfortunately, she will lose. The votes simply aren't there.
This (worldclass) POS is absolutely REVERED here in Looneytown (Seattle).

Yesterday Carol Cassady ®) , challenger to Jim McDermott in the 7th District, rode in the Chinatown Parade on top of a tank, a British Ferret actually. Peace through Strength and Failure Is Not An Option were on the sides of the tank. We had a bunch of public school educated 8th graders come up and argue for a half hour about why we don't invade North Korea instead of Iraq. The kid lists all the horrific things going on in NK etc. so we responded "You believe everything you just said?" "Yes" "So what you are telling us is that liberals want to go to war against North Korea and you would support the President 100% if that happens?" The kid responded "Well, not really, I would try something else like boycotting." "So you really don't believe we should go to war against NK you're just throwing it out as a red herring?"
Go to www.cassadyforcongress.com and listen to her radio ads. We are recording two new ones tonight, should be up by tomorrow. Pass these ads along nationwide, there is a lot of objection to McDermotts "Hate America Tour" around the country and these ads could be used to hammer his true lack of character which is representative of the Democratic Party's true lack of character.

Biden told the College Democrats that McDermott "has more moxie than any other member of Congress."
Stalin had more moxie than Castro too...

McDermott won last time with something near 80% of the vote, if I remember correctly.

I live down here in Clark County, Washington, Baghdad Jim has nothing to do with this area; but you wouldn't beleive the hell I catch from my brother in NC every time Jim opens his gaping maw.
Either get this guy some podium time at the convention or in front of any TV camera and let him yap.
To: ServesURight
Is there any good conservative challengers to McDermott?<sigh> no, unfortunately. It's his seat until he dies. Then maybe we'll get a Democrat who's less of a socialist gadfly to win the seat. Maybe. That's the most we can hope for for Seattle right now. :-(

You gotta be kidding me. Have Seattle residents' brains deteriorated from too much Starbucks coffee consumption?
To: ServesURight
Too much Starbucks...? Too many genes mutated from LSD and other stronger substances, combined with a public school education, I am afraid.
