There have been.
They lost by wide margins.
In Seattle, they love McDermott (Remember, this is where they erected a huge bronze statue of Lenin.)

We have an EXCELLENT challenger to McDimwitt.
Unfortunately, she will lose. The votes simply aren't there.
This (worldclass) POS is absolutely REVERED here in Looneytown (Seattle).

McDermott won last time with something near 80% of the vote, if I remember correctly.

<sigh> no, unfortunately. It's his seat until he dies. Then maybe we'll get a Democrat who's less of a socialist gadfly to win the seat. Maybe. That's the most we can hope for for Seattle right now. :-(
