Kerry – Not again!

For me the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s are much a blur but the shame of those years still gnaws at me. Many of us were boomers. We had it made and some of us had it all wrong. Many of us were draft bait. I still see the faces of some schoolmates that didn’t come home. I was 4F so those faces haunt me. Danny, Ralph, George, Charlie, the waste of it all. Many of us wanted the war to end but not in disgrace. McNamara said it couldn’t be won. Nixon, in spite of the left, forced the NV to the table. We didn’t lose the war in Asia. We lost the war when we spat on our returning heroes. A school buddy returned from two tours with nothing in common with me then we had hailed from the same town. I was proud of him but what was our mutual point of reference. He had been living in hell and I had been living in safety. I am not sure I thanked him for that. We never met again. It took years to push down those feelings of shame. It took years but many of us grew up and bit by bit we rejected the lies that were fed to us through music, film, TV, magazines, newspapers, liberal schools, etc. We had been spoon-fed a poison of liberalism. We were told it was good for us. Some of us recovered and some of us are still sick and spreading the disease.

All those years since then – all those old resentments toward the excrement that had lied to us is surfacing once again. I don’t dislike Kerry, I loathe him. He spat on our troops and he still does. When he spits on our troops, he spits on you and me. Kerry – Not Again!

Nicely said. But I don't consider it a waste, as we took up arms to fight communism. All of our efforts from Korea to Vietnam to Cuba and Latin America, and later, Reagan's successes at suppressing communist advances ultimately led to its downfall. But you are correct in pointing out that Kerry and his ilk on the left were responsible for the communist takeover in Vietnam. Unfortunately, unless the Bush/Cheney 2004 campaign addresses this treason, it will remain a sordid part of our history that no one wants to resurrect.

Yeah I saw one of the home parties on C-SPAN too it is Kerry's handlers plan to have alot of these home parties to get people to vote for Kerry.

I had the dubious pleasure of being in Vietnam when Kerry was spewing his BS and lies. It was demoralizing for the troops. Today, he has done a 180 and wants us all to forget all that he did and said. You loathe the man. I raised my 3 kids to never "hate" anybody. Disagree, dislike, but not hate. I've employed that same theory, but this traitorous, lying sack of $hit has made me reconsider that.

I'm serious. This man makes me absolutely sick. What scares me even more is that about 50% of Americans cherish this guy. He is absolutely scarey.

It was the sentiment of the time. The classmates I lost, like the ones that returned, as you say, saved us from communism. We owe them a great deal.

I truly and deeply fear for our Republic if this ... person is elected. Not only for the damage he will most certainly inflict on the country during his term but because the citizens of this country have degressed to such a low level that a person like f'n Kerry would even be considered for office much less elected. Our founding father would spit at us in disgust ... and they would be right

Keep in mind the Tories equaled the number of Patriots during our founding. The Tories cared more about their interest than liberty. People are ignorant about Kerry's anti-troop, anti-war efforts during the early '70's. They just see the bubble-wrap version of the creep.
