No trains. Busses.
The things that run around Ann Arbor call themselves "The Ride".
When i was a kid, there was "SEMTA" ( South East Michigan Transportation Authority) More busses, but they were cheap, safe and went everywhere.
Also timely. I rode them a lot.

The only methods here are car, boat, motorcycle, foot, and in the winter time - snowmobile
