Please join in the call for Senator Kerry to release the videotape of his July 8 "Hate Fest" at Radio City Music Hall by signing this petition.

Senator Kerry, release the videotape of your July 8, 2004 fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall; the American people deserve to know what you, a candidate for President, consider the “heart and soul of America.”

On Thursday July 8, 2004, your campaign hosted a fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall at which you stated, "Every performer tonight in their own way either verbally through their music through their lyrics have conveyed to you the heart and soul of our country."

Do most Americans in their hearts, think that calling the President a "thug" and a "killer" represents the "heart and soul" of our nation? We don't think so, but we think voters should decide for themselves by watching the celebrities you claim captured the "heart and soul" of America in their performances, speeches, and songs.

Why do you continue to hide this tape from the American people? What are you afraid of?

America deserves to see this “hate fest” that you have tacitly endorsed. While the performers/speakers involved had a right to speak their minds, you had a right to condemn their words if you felt that they did not represent your views and opinions. You did not do so; thus, it must be implied that you tacitly endorsed the hate spewing from the stage that night.

Mr. Kerry, do the right thing and release the tape of your July 8th fundraiser and let the American people decide if they agree with the views expressed that night – what you have called “the heart and soul of America.” If you can’t be honest and forthcoming with the American people now, you do not deserve to be President.

I can understand that point of view, but... consider just how devastating it will be for people who are not convinced of the depravity of the people who support Kerry to see Whoopi Goldberg up there at the mike, swilling wine and making an ass of herself, and then to hear Kerry say that she represents the "heart and soul of America."

n July 8, 2004, in spite of himself, Larry King, (Larry King Live, July 8, 2004), elicited what may be the single most important truth in this election cycle, namely, that John Kerry, who would be an unfit commander in chief at any time, would be manifestly unfit in this post-9/11 era.

Right out of the box, (confirming the conventional wisdom that they should be kept in a box), the "brilliantly nuanced" Mr. Kerry -- and his "smart as a whip" BILLIONheiress-backer missus -- inadvertently revealed the following decidedly unhelpful facts about themselves, to wit:

(1) that they have no time for terror; that is to say, that Kerry-Hollywood Axis moneygrubbing power-grabbing hate-fests and snowboarding and botoxing and nipping 'n' tucking and clipping 'n' coifing, all take precedence over terror briefings.

(2) that they subscribe to the wimpish and deadly European standard of vulnerability to terrorism.

(3) that they self-servingly and seditiously undermine America's War on Terror, and do so with disturbing ease.

Inadvertent truth strips away all pretense. The Kerry-Hollywood Axis is deadly. That is the naked truth and that is the election bottom line.
