Thanks to all the Kerry Crushers who sent in nominations for this week's award.

The winner of this week’s Judge Smails Award goes to Texas Democratic Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson.

This darling of the Communists and similar minded liberals, who just 2 years ago refused to support a House resolution wishing an ailing President Reagan a happy birthday wins this week by virtue of her buffoonish letter to Kofi Annan requesting the UN deploy election observers around the country for the November election. Yes, she means our country.

Only Judge Smails could appreciate a dolt like this who wishes to turn over the sovereignty of the US elections to the architect of disasters in Rwanda and Srebrenica, and who has Libya as the chair of the UN Human Rights Comission .

Congratulations to the loony Congresswoman who shares wacky conspiracy theories with anti-Semite Cynthia McKinney.

BACKGROUND OF THE AWARD

This is a new feature from crushkerry.com Who is Judge Elihu Smails? He's the character in the film Caddyshack who asks of the obnoxious but lovable Al Czervick (played by Rodney Dangerfield), “good Lord, what has this buffoon done now?”

As a special tribute to Judge Smails, every week we will issue this award to the biggest buffoon of the week … the person who, through his or her actions or public statements, has made a buffoon of themselves and everyone associated with them. We also ask Kerry Crushers to send in your nominations (no limits, so keep them coming). All we ask is that you tell us why you’re nominating the person, and include a link to any relevant stories.

TOPICS: Editorial; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS:
Last week's winner was Ted Kennedy, for his appearing at a press conference w/ lawyers calling for the impeachment of President Bush.

Eddie Bernice Johnson needs to get lots of media attention. Along with that media attention should come questions for the two Johns about their feelings on this matter.

And yet this hideous embarrassment to Texas always manages to sit on the aisle when the President is appearing in order to give him a big hug, which he must then return or appear:

racist and ungentlemanly.

He'd probably rather kiss a frog.

So far I haven't seen anyone touch on the REAL ISSUE:

No person in Congress HAS THE AUTHORITY TO REQUEST ANYTHING FROM THE UN. Doing so usurps the President's authority. Her actions were not just stupid, they were rude and disrespectful.

Being a sovereign country .. ONLY THE PRESIDENT CAN MAKE SUCH A REQUEST.

Forget everything else about this woman... the fact that she is on board with having the U.N. do *ANYTHING* in this country is warning enough.

Then again, anyone who has even a smattering of respect for that organization needs to be put in a nice, padded room.

This is all a setup to undermine any justice department efforts to curtail illegal voting -- which is desparately needed by RATs to win many of their elections this year. EBJ doesn't want honest elections; she wants exactly the opposite, and to keep the justice department out of RAT shenenigans.

I've worked in several campaigns here in the Dallas area, including one against EBJ. She's probably got a 95 IQ and, like her counterparts Sheia Jackson Lee or Maxine Waters, can't function without her staff preparing her for everything that's ahead. She's done absolutely nothing in Congress for 12 years or so, but keeps getting reelected because the sheeple in her district get told in every election when they are signing in who to vote for.

If this isn't voter fraud, I don't know what is.
