actually it is rather easy if it was long ago. Especially if it was a tiny amount. Many times a matter is just handed over to lawyers who have complete authority to deal with it.

I've always thought that the "tobacco litigation scam" was Hillary Clinton's idea. After all, she was astute and crooked enough to get involved in "flipping properties" during the Savings and Loan thievery.
Hillary was big buddies with people like John O'Quinn. Who has been taking the money he received from the tobacco scam and funneling it back to Democrats.
Imagine if Kerry and Edwards get elected. The trial lawyers will have a field day. Frankly, I imagine the REAL reason Kerry picked Edwards was the money. I bet trial lawyers are pouring money into every Democratic pocket they can find.
Imagine who they can sue once again with the gov't behind them. Tobacco? Energy? Bill Gates again? Etc, etc.
The main problems with the Clintons was that they were lawyers. Lawyers will stip mine everything they get their hands on. We need to keep them away from the US Treasury.

Kerry chose edwards because he brings his personal money and the plaintiff trial lawyers money.
Bush chose Cheney who brought experience and managment skills.
Trial lawyers may be the money but teacher unions are the shock troops.
BTW Notice how the media is blacking out the fact the FEDERAL MARRIAGE AMENDMENT is being voted on NEXT WEEK!

And your point is, nailing Rush on a technicality is more important than discussing the deleterious effects of "class lawsuits"? I can't remember if I have filed lawsuits. Why? The wording on defending yourself against bogus lawsuits can read as "lawsuit"; as opposed to, in non-legal reality world, it is, in fact. Nah; he handled that thorny issue as best he could. It was a "when did you stop beating your wife" type question from the caller, IMHO
You may be right. The lefty Rush was talking to may have been a lawyer. And maybe he knew of new lawsuit Rush filed. Which is a matter of public record.
The guy caught Rush flatfooted. And that's something you don't hear too often.
